How many have you converted?

I dont know about converted, but I definitely took the opportunity of inexpensive BK15's and gave a couple away to knife loving friends.

I've given a couple of knives to women which made them feel safer. One a female teacher in the far north, one down south. That's about it. I find that most non knife buyers are dumb as bricks about them and primarily focused on price. Even hunters can be a mixed lot like this at times.

I gave a pink buck folder to my brothers gf. I can agree on the ignorance of non knife people. When i tell people i got my bk2 or 16 for $60 a piece they look at me like $60 for one knife. Like thats expensive. I think to myself if you only knew you would understand its a helleva deal for what you get.

About three a week. But I have a basement laboratory, psychodelic "accentuaters," and a brainwash protocol developed by the Swiss.

None really, I guess. Most ppl I know just aren't in to knives. Ive turned some folks on to Beckers but they just have 1...kinda 1 Knife if I ever need one kinda ppl. The guys that I work with that are in to knives all stand around with their stupid flippers click click clicking away talking about $200-$300 ugly ass spiderco, ZT, or benchmade and never heard of Becker. One fella bought a BK2 from me and EDCs it but that's it...

A couple have ZTs or Sp.Co. then show me their new SOG fixed Blade lol....sigh...

Because God gave me neither talons nor fangs - I am a knife person by necessity. That necessity turned into an enthusiasm which turned into a hobby. Now, I'm a Knife Ambassador!

Converted? None. Knife people are already knife people, and those that aren't....don't ever get it. I've turned some knife people on to Beckers, but...they were already converted, so to speak. I have made a few kitchen knife converts - i.e., they now understand why one might spend decent money on a tool that one uses every day , but most of them still don't get why you might like a knife OUTSIDE the kitchen, and since the ESEE/Becker kitchen set is no longer available.....no. No conversions yet, so far as I know.
