How many here have forgotten to carry their EDC?

I didn't forget it, but last Thanksgiving I reached into my pocket and it wasn't there. I jumped up and ran around my house until I found it about 10 minutes later on the chair I was sitting on :o

I have this dream where I walk into a room full of cute girls and close friends and suddenly realize....I don't have a knife on me.:o:o:o

When I go to a ball game I have to leave them behind. Otherwise, it's called EDC for a reason.

I use to wear a watch all the time, then I stopped ... Now I am trying to get back into it, but I mostly forget my watch ..

Once, after hitting a deer with my car, I discovered that not only did I not have a knife in my pocket, but I couldn't find the SAK I usually keep in my car. Had to leave the deer behind and it was too far out of town to return for. In those days money was tight, so the venison would have come in handy. With all the knives I own, people still laugh at me for not having a knife when I needed it most.

I would have punched myself in the face if I couldn't get that deer. I love venison sausage. :D

I don't forget my knife, I just choose not to carry it when it's not appropriate, like going to school sporting event, although I can, I shouldn't. If I can carry it, I carry it 99% of the time.

I never forget my main edc knife but sometimes I forget one of the other things I carry (SAK, multi tool, flashlight) and it seems like every time I don’t have one of them that the time I find my self needing them.

Never forgot it, there where times when I’ve have to leave it at home or I had to fly. I couldn’t tolerate being in a strange place for a week without my trusty old SAK so I started checking my bag, so I could bring it with me.

About 12 years ago I lost it for three months. It would fall out of my pocket once in a while, it was driving me crazy. I lost it at rehearsal but didn’t know it until one day my guitar player pulled it out of his pocket to cut something. I said Maury where did you find my knife. He gave it back but I knew after three months he had grown used to it and bought him a new one, the Vic Climber is not very expensive. I had replaced the red plastic slabs with dense white bone, no mistaking it.

I finally retired it the thought of loosing it permanently was just too much. I can’t tell you how many times at work I had to run out to my car to find it under the diver’s seat.

I am lost if I have no knife on me, I do the knife on wallet so I dont forget. But if I do I have a back up in my bag that always goes with me.

I've never forgotten, not once. Unless I've forgotten that I forgot. :o

Have never left the house without a knife. I guess it is protocol like wallet, keys, and sunglasses.

Only once a year or less do I ever forget my knife--and when I do I catch myself when I'm not too far from home! Whenever I do forget it's usually because it's a lazy day off and I decide to go somewhere. If I follow my usual daily routine it's impossible for me to forget it (actually them since I EDC three!) :D
