Tin foil hats....lolYes you guys in tin foil hats are correct
Do you want a map - and the hours I'm not home, too? Sorry, if you need storage suggestions, you could have been a bit less invasive with your query! You're a bit new to the dance here - and don't list your home area.

If you where a thief it would not matter if they where stored in a safe vs shoe box in the hall closet. A thief would find a way to get to them or if he/she could not then other things around the house would go missing. Yes you guys in tin foil hats are correct there is a small chance someone could fish for info about your valuables this way but there is also a chance someone could be fishing for info about murdering you and your family by going threw your trash or sitting outside your home or job. Do you burn all your trash and take different routes to work everyday living in fear? I mean theres a chance this could happen same as there is a chance some guy could use the internet to get info about your knife collection a collection most of you advertise to the world anyway. I hear tin foil is on sale this week at most major retailers.
Oh btw i keep my knives in the top drawer of my dresser on a nice micro fiber towel. I don't save boxes since every knife i own is used hard and will be with me till it breaks, or wears out.

I keep all of my knives in Spyderco Spyderpacs (Large). They work well at keeping each knife individually protected and the knives are all visible when I unfold the Spyderpac. I keep all the original knife boxes in a large box so if I ever trade/gift/sell a knife I can return it to the original packing.
