How many is enough?

In the house we have 2 Izulas,2 3s,a 4,and a 6.I'm waiting on the stainless 4,but really anticipating the Izula folder!
 
If factory black with orange scales was an option, I'd have two of every ESEE knife I own so far. Knife colors are overrated, but I admit I enjoy how they look as well as how they feel and function.

I wish I had the same knife as a backup for some of my favorite knives. Usually I have done that only if I got a very good deal, or if there were concerns with finding a replacement.

At least those who buy the same ESEE knife won't be disappointed in what they're getting.
 
Have 3 izulas in each color and one green on the way, 1 HEST, 1 clip point model 6, two AH1, 1 izula zippo, and counting. Since 2009, the most time I were "clean" without buying an ESEE was 20 something days.
 
I have two Izzy's, because they came out with the orange one, and I thought it was cool. I put the orange one in my survival kit and the green one in my daypack.

I've also thought about getting an ESEE-3 with orange scales because I think it looks cool.

And yes, I collect (or at least accumulate knives). I have a few knives that I bought just because I like the way they look.

I only buy what i can use. Never duplicates, no matter what the knife. I own one Izula and one RC3. And im selling the Izula cause i have no need for it.
 
I had 3 Izulas.. only 2 now...

there are a lot of people that buy knives and NEVER USE them... ESEE's are NOT the knives to collect I'll tell you that right now, they will not increase in value..

some people like to look at them/fondle them etc, maybe it gives them this false sense of security??:confused::eek: dunno, its sick though......

However redundancy with guns is one thing, IF it makes sense.. for me: having a G26,2 G19's makes sense when you have other non gun owners in the same family with a gazillion magazines/ammo.. in case of zombies :D

ETA: Maybe I should have read you last question before I rambled on to post.. :D, anyhow I have 2 Izzy's, hest, 4.. why I have 2 Izzy is because one has scales the other is a neck knife.. beside's they're cheap enough to have a couple.. :D, my Hest is edc most the time... the 4 is woods abuse.. with other non esee blades.. which btw I use alot of.. :D looking to get a 3 for edc rotation though.. Don't really NEED a Junglas as I have many in that range, but maybe someday..

I only have a 3Mil-CP at the moment. It serves as a general purpose EDC, kitchen, field, and defense knife.

But I see and Iz 1 and 2 in the future. I almost always carry a folder, but I'd prefer a fixed blade. The 3Mil is great but isn't always practical to carry in less permissive environments. The Iz is just the right size.

I can see the addictive appeal of the Iz. Having 1 wrapped, 1 with scales, 1 stripped...all very nice looking yet functional.

I'll also likely pick up another 3 (without the CP) or 4 to become a dedicated "field" knife (kept with the hunting/hiking rig).
