How many is too many?

I see this thread is kinda like walking into a bar and asking "who here is against drinking?".

One is not enough. Two is too many and three is not nearly enough....an old saying by an old friend of mine. I just won an eBay auction and now up to 6 Benchmades ;)

It depends. What is the motivation of owning more than 1 knife? Are you into collection for the sake of bragging? Then there will be no end. Good thing Bill Gates is not collecting :p (I am just guessing)

Me? I an into above average stainless steel made recent "production" blade that can be replaced easily. Gold Class doesn't appeal to me much. Only exception would be that if LE uses more exotic steel, but not Damascus.

Yeah, 2014 had few M390 knives that took a chunk out of gadget budget.

I have two hands, so theoretically more than two are excessive... :D

I like the exotic steel daily users as well. Been thinking is getting the KW exclusive 710, but is a bit big for my liking. The new 485 is right up my alley and my 707 in m390 is perfect. The 940-1 is also a favorite of mine. Wish my 531 was at least S30V, not that the 154CM is bad.
