How many knifes? Give a number.

I've been collecting production Benchmades and Emersons for a year, but have others spanning 20 years. Number: 35+.

woah u guys have alot of knives! Besides the toolbox and kitchen I have 3:the little schrade folder my dad gave me as a child, my handy-dandy leatherman wave and the knife i just finished making. Im not broke just conservative with spending. I started making knives because they are too expensive for me to buy!

90-110 here(was counting, and came up with a number, then remembered a couple more and so on.)

I own 15 customs, 2 SAK's, 3 Spyderco's that are VERY special to me. I Paul knife, and a TOPS small Wolf Pup.

Seems I'm a lightweight also. 2 pocket knives, 3 fixed blades 1 Gerber multi tool. I usually don't buy something unless I feel I have a need or use for it.

Between what I have accumulated over the years, and the stock on hand what I made there are about 150.

On my person I only carry 3

I had 50+, but have scaled down in numbers recently to get some that I really want.

Now I have about 30. I plan to add a Hinderer XM-18, an Obenauf and a Lochsa (someday).

Maybe a dozen.

I've been "collecting" for maybe 2 years. Money stops me from getting more.

I counted awhile back, can't remember the exact number but it was over 200.But a larger number of those are are good but inexpensive knives like saks and moras etc.

1... >_<

I'm somewhat new to the knife world, and have to buy a guitar and bow before I can get more knives (got 3 already planned knife purchases though: BM 4X, Spyderco Stretch II and Spin).

I have between 35 and 40. I seem to add between two and four new knives to my collection each year. One or two of them will be customs.

Got to 150ish, then just recently got interested in customs. So, from now on, the count will go up mush slower, but the cost to CEO's pocket book per year wil go up considerably.

I used to have over 200, but sold off or traded them. My collection is focused on Custom knives. The productions that I have, with the exception of the SAK's. were all gifted to me in some capacity.

Good choices in wanting an XM-18, Obenauf & Lochsa!! The XM-18 IS one of THE toughest knives out there!!I LOVE mine!! The 3 inch XM-18 IS the perfect EDC for me!! And Rick IS a great guy too, which makes it even better! I LOVE my Obenauf's as well. And I was fortunate to get on Scott Cook's order list, just before he stopped taking orders.

hmmmm i've been into knives for like 6-8 months now and i only have like 7 knives and 2 of those are 3 dollar frost cutlery folders to practice sharpening on. But I like to imagine that im not wasting cash on cheapo knives so i keep the collection small

12 - not including kitchen knives.

I usually sell-off knives that don't get used in some capacity, to fund other knives. My last couple of purchases have been SAK's - no other tactical folders really interest me right now, other than the one I carry. All my knives are stashed away somewhere (car, gun case, kitchen drawer, coffee table, pocket, etc.) and serve a purpose. I can't see myself hoarding a bunch of them in some metal box with a combination on it anytime soon. :)

I don't know, I guess about 200 or thereabouts

Not including kitchen knives.
(Good to mention that, symphonyincminor.)

Give or take a few, I keep between 15 and 20. Of those, five are considered in edc rotation, five are specific task users, and five just never seem to go away. The rest are transient.
