- kabar hobo kitchen set

trunk - cheap 440c folder from a long long time ago that my grandmother gave me...

man... ive really cut back lately...

CRK Mnandi in RF pocket (food + office knife).
SAK manager in watch pocket (sheeple knife).
Leatherman Wave on right hip in molded nylon sheath modified for horizontal carry (tool and hardware knife).
SAK Cybertool 29 in my "man" bag ('puter tool/corkscrew).
LM Squirt EL in "man" bag (mini-'puter knife/tool).

I have most bases covered except for the "really big" knife. :D

I'd like to get a knife to cover the "big knife" zone that I'm missing (Spydie Millie looks might tasty), but it would probably get me in trouble. When people catch a glimpse of my Mnandi (with its blade being all of 2.75"), I hear gasps and comments like "who're you gonna kill with that?".

for edc i always have my spyderco delica SE for utility work, carry my emerson spec war CQC8 zero bevel grind (most of the time) or my crawford perfigo (sometimes).

in the winter sometimes i carry my bud nealy amoeba.

always have my ranger SAK and my leatherman juice in my bag though.

I always have my Kershaw little buddy with nail file and screwdriver and my Jeff Angelo, If I have a bag I have my Leatherman Wave, and I will often add one of: small Sebenza, Dozier Straight Personal, Benchmite, or Fallkniven U2--but that's only cause I have a small selection. Basically I carry them because I want to. I also have a few more that I don't carry much because they are not one-handers.

Always two, sometimes to FRN spydies, delica or endura, sometimes La Griffe, Yesterday I went to dinner with the para mili from the pass around and a new five inch vaquero with serrated blade, oh yeah and a woman too. The para and the vaq feel like a great combo. Today the vaq is still in my pocket b ut the para has been replaced with a g10 worker.

Regular rotated knife (Buck?Mayo, BM 705M2, BM AFCK M2, BM 940TI) and a little Eddie Bauer SAM with a small sizzors.

Normally carry a Vic soldier along with either a Benchmade 805 TSEK or 720. Though if I needed to I could get by just carrying the Vic, but two knives are better than one.

These days, as my main knife I carry my 921. Occaisonally I carry my Spydie Perrin in an On Scene Tactical sheath. I also have a Leatherman micra on my keychain as well. About everything else is in my Thermite Versipack. I carry a V'nox Tinker, a SW Badge Knife, and the blade from my Jaguar bali (in case I need to pry or something that I wouldn't want to use a nice knife for).

for work:
Emerson Karambit clipped in the right front pocket
BM 220 Snody fixed blade around my neck
and in the bottom of the right front pocket, a CRKT KISS that I use as a money clip

off duty:

Emerson mini CQC-7B clipped in the right pocket with the KISS at the bottom.

these of course are all back-ups to Mr. Sig...

Always an Emerson SOFCK, and either a Kershaw Chive or Scallion.

If I carry the man-purse, add a Spyderco Endura, a Gerber 600 Multitool, and 1 of the following: V'nox Spartan, Tinker, or Mechanic.

Wow, this is an old thread. My edc has changed in both quality and taste. Right now I carry a PS Emerson SOCFK A, Buck 303T in Mission wallet and, when I have on my Thermite, a Vic Champion.

Lately I've been going out with more knives on me than I used to. I carry my BM710HSSR in my front right pocket as my main blade. Then I have a SAK Midnight Manager II on my keychain (gives me a bottle opener, pen, light, small scissors, etc). Lately I've been carrying a SAK Huntsman with the new white LED light. This gives me larger scissors, wood saw, etc. I actually used the wood saw today to remove some dead branches from a Dogwood tree at my folk's that my mother was afraid my son would run into and get poked. :) Then I carry a Swiss Card in my wallet which mostly repeats what I have on the other SAK's, but it has a magnifier. :)

My main EDC is a Victorinox Settler.

Others that i carry depending on use, occaision, or mood are:
Victorionx Soldier
Victorinox Classic
Victorinox Compact
Victorinox Bantam
Forge de Laguiole pistacchio wood laguiole
Chris Reeve Mnandi with bocote inlay

I keep a Victorinox Swiss Tool RS in my car.

My "woods" knives are a Victorinox Hiker and Huntsman, Opinel #8, and an old Norlund Voyageur hatchet. My hunting knife is a Shcrade Sharpfinger.

Oh man, the knives I've gone through as edc's since I last posted on this thread in Jan. 2003! Not even gonna' mention them just going to tell you what I carry now. My right front has either a Bob Terzuola ATCF or a D.B. Fraley XL Deluge ( the XL is definately EXTRA LARGE). In my left front it is a Case slipjoint from the Case Brothers series and is a large Gunstock pattern.

I carry:

A plain edge, one of the following
Benchmade 31S balisong
BM42MC bali
BM42-400 bali
Severtech
Microtech Scarab
I also have a Woodard Fer De Lance in the mail (had one before, but sold it to fund the Scarab...and have missed it ever since)

Plus a fully serrated Spyderco Salt in the waistband.

Plus a Victorinox Cybertool 41 in the backpack.

So that'd be 2-3 knives.

When at school and shopping I have Spyderco Spydercard in my wallet and Cold Steel Tuff Lite on my keychain. Other times I also have Cold Steel Pro Lite clipped to my pocket, Buck 110 and Leatherman 200 on my belt and old slipjoint in my pocket. If I know I will need a fixedblade I take one of my puukkos or my Fällkniven A1 with me.

Just one, a large TNT with recurve blade. If you want to be technical I guess you could say three, counting the small talonite fixed blade keychain knife I made, and a LM Squirt P4 that are always on my keychain.

The TNT is really the only one that sees much use. The others are there just in case I ever leave without the TNT, or need a more specialized tool such as pliers or screwdriver.

Like my sig says, a Case small Texas Toothpick and either a BM 940 (today's choice since it's a workday) or a Gunting (usual weekend choice). Sometimes, if my pockets are full of stuff, I'll leave the Case home since I don't like to scratch it up, which is OK since I also keep an SAK (usually a Tinker) in my briefcase, my messenger bag and my backpack, so I always have a utility blade handy. When I started to really accumulate knives I thought I'd outgrown SAKs, but they are just too handy to do without, no matter how many "better" knives you have.

I usually EDC two, but currently rotate between:

Tarani Journeyman Folding Karambit
Tarani Master's Folding Karambit
Emerson Combat Karambit
Spyderco Gunting Combination Edge
