how many of your knives packs a firesteel, so far i have 5 knives and am planning on adding more to my collection, although the chances are that i may/maynot use them i still think they look pretty cool! Alot of my friends think that they are sharpening steel until i show them what it can really do.:D

The only knife that has a specific firesteel companion is my Koster Bushcraft.

I consider firemaking one of my top priorities in the woods. My belt knife always has a firesteel on the sheath. I have a couple smaller knives on my person that also have dedicated firesteels. This way, if I were separated from my main knife (not likely since it is small and always on me) I can still get a fire going with my necker or folder.

None. (Well, maybe a small one could fit in a Becker handle.)

I have a couple of sheaths with provision to carry a firesteel. :p

(Which I do not use as the firesteel corrodes readily once the protective finish is penetrated. Fingernail polish restores it, but I don't carry polish anymore - just pancake makeup and eye liner.)

i have 5 field/bush knives, that all have firesteel loops/pouches.... i don't go out into the woods without one...:D

I have fire steels, I keep a mag FS in my pocket almost all the time. Now, while I have fire steels unfortunately none of my knives have any... so I guess they will need me to start a fire when we're in the woods.:D
but seriously what are you talking about? I don't know of any knives that have a fire steel built in to them. I think it would be retarded anyways because you have to be able to separate them to use them. do you tape a fire steel onto your sheath or knife? Maybe you put one in a pouch built in to your sheath. (wouldn't this mean your sheath is "packing" a fire steel?) how does your knife "pack" a fire steel? I'm serious BTW:)
