I like having the right tool for the right job. Normally I will have my BK2 on my hip, ZT 0700 in my right pocket, old vic woodsman, gerber mini multi -tool, + 1 more from my collection that I find a use for in my day-to-day.

Curious to find out how many others out there carry multiples, and their reasons behind it.

Cheers,

Tim

I do. I carry an 11 on my neck, and something on my hip, usually a Esee 3/4 or a 16/17. Then in my bag I carry a BK-2 along with a gerber multi-tool and flashlight and some other stuff.

I always have a Vic Cadet on me, a BK14 in my "Man Bag", Mora Companion in the car, and another folder of the day.

Vic Camper in my pocket, always. Used to carry my Wave all the time. I still carry my hornet too, but not always.

How do you spend your days that you can carry and would need a BK2 on a daily basis?

I carry one or two. Either a small fixed blade of my own make or a small folder for discretion. Sometimes both if I'm feeling fond of a particular small folder (currently Spyderco Dragonfly G10). My messenger bag has a SAK buried in it somewhere, all but forgotten, but the bag doesn't go with me everywhere.

I spend my work days sitting in an office chair. At home in my ez - chair or chasing the kids. Outside the house....general maintenance on my house / property and going for walks with the kids in the local forest. I would love to change my living situation to the point where I would require to use it more then I already do in my day-to-day.

Everybody I know decides to lecture me on how "excessive" my EDC is.....but its in the name of the knife; companion. With me always like a good friend and there when I need it.

A serrated Blur in the glove box, a Scallion or Mini Grip in my backpack and I carry a tactical style folder in my right front pocket at all times. My EDC can be anything from a Sng to a Satu Ti Ti.

Actually, the name of the knife is 'Campanion'.
So pitch your tent in the backyard and tell everyone to buzz off. :D

Sorry about that,

its hard to type when you have children jumping on your laptop!

Wenger Esquire on my keychain, Victorinox Farmer on my belt, and a Craftsman 9473 mini-stockman (Schrade 108OT) in my left pocket.

About two on me, unless you're counting my pack. I'm never really 25yds away from it. It has about 10 in it at any given times for various reasons.

usually 2 on me and 3 in my pack these are usually larger than my bk14 and spyderco tenacious that I keep on my person.

Just 2 for me unless I'm in the woods.
I carry my BK11 on my belt a Leatherman Wingman clipped in my pocket.
In the bush I'll usually also have a larger fixed blade as well, and maybe a spare in my pack.

Usually two, sometimes three. If I'm going out and wearing a jacket sometimes one in each jacket pocket as well. Lately it's been my BK14 or Buck 110 in my right front pocket and my Schrade Old Timer stockman or a small Buck lockback in my right rear pocket with my wallet. A Leatherman Micra lives in the first aid kit in my backpack and I usually have my Leatherman Rebar in there as well.

I like having something fixed or locking of a pretty decent size that can get big jobs done or double as a defensive weapon in a pinch. The smaller folder gets almost all of the work, being both more convenient and less frightening for the people around me. I just like having the options of the multitools if I need them.

One is none, so always at least two :-) There's a Victorinox Classic on my keychain, but that's not much of a knife. I usually carry a larger blade like the Benchmade Adamas and something smaller like a Boker Nano, or BM Mini Grip. Occasionally there's a blade in a bag that's with me.

Why? Well, the larger blades aren't always needed, so I carry a smaller one for use around others or when I actually need something smaller.

I routinely carry a large 111 mm SAK. Sometimes carry a large GEC trapper pattern (#42) in a leather sleeve. The Spydie Delica finds it way into my pocket from time to time also. Been experimenting with the BK-14/24 as an EDC. Not there yet.... the sheath is the problem. My EDC fixed blade is a small Dozier Personal with a kydex horizontal sheath.

In the woods I carry a BK-16, Blackjack 125, or one of my larger Dozier fixed blades (Wilderness or Wilderness Guides models). Been playing around with the BK-7. It's still a bit large to me.

Hey 22, how do you like that GEC #42? And what sort of covers did you get? I like trappers and the #42 always looked like a nice beefy version to me.

It is the two blade Missouri Trapper. I really like it. The biggest negative I think are the sharp edges which would tend to wear a pocket out, but the sleeve changes that. I tried the larger #23 (too heavy for me for pocket carry, better with a belt sheath) and the smaller #74 (I believe, it's the 2012 Traditional forum knife), and settled on the 4.25" closed length as the best fit for use and carry. It is a handful and heavy. I bought it to carry and it has the copperhead jigged bone scales. I didn't want fancy like ivory or something exotic. I think jigged bone is very durable. I keep it in a KSF leather pocket sleeve as it is frequently in the same pocket as keys or loose change, or a back pocket. The one blade seldom gets used, but I like having the second blade really sharp if I need it. The most used blade varies from damn sharp to okay sharp depending on the day.

I usually carry a folder and a small fixed blade on me at all times. My SAK custom pioneer with scissors added usually as well. If I am at the office a fixer is worn as a necker. Nights and weekends ----fixers are either on my belt(kydex sheath from 710 with tek lok) or pocket carried to make room for my CCW.

I am in the process of re-figuring my EDC when I am not going to work. I have a messenger bag which has all my necessary stuff in it, but I only carry it when I go to work because it also holds my lunch and some important papers. So, on days off I usually do not carry the bag, relying on what's in my pockets.

I have my 24 in my pocket or on my belt all the time, and I just added a JAB piggyback on the neck. I also added a SAK Tinker to my key chain, but last night at a get together (I did not drive my truck) I needed a bottle opener and a flashlight (both on the key chain).

Yeah, last night was an EDC fail for me.
