How many knives do you own

My family thinks that me owning 4 knives is weird.:rolleyes: How many knives do you guys do you guys have? I need to show them what weird really is. ;) A picture of a group of knives would be appreciative. They don't understand our addiction.

Owning 4 knives IS weird. I can't imagine owning so few. :p I probably have around 25-30 at this point. I'll bet there are a few guys here who have hundreds. Idk for sure, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
 
For some of these folks here I'm sure it would be like asking them how many nails are in their houses haha
 
Ive got a “moderate” collection going, around 45... but im trying to condense.. I am, I SWEAR ;)
 
I haven't counted in a long time, but I'm sure it is close to a thousand. There's a giveaway thread running with a few of my group pictures on the first page.
 
If you can count them, you haven't got enough to notice. I don't even know where a lot of mine are stashed. A couple of crates, 2 desk drawers, jacket pockets ...
 
Man, I wish you'd asked this question, say, 20 years ago. Far easier to count then. But if you want some pix...

Last time I checked I had about 110. I've been thinking about selling off around half my collection to buy newer stuff as my tastes have changed.
 
Man, I haven't counted them up in a while. Probably in the neighborhood of 150. 70% of those are Spydies.:cool:

I try to keep mine around 25, out with the old and in with the new. There is always something new catching my eye.....
 
i keep 3-4 in my rotation of higher end production knives. and i have 20-30 between my fixed blades and less expensive knives i have held onto
 
I don't have many. Theres 21 pictured, so.....28 total, most are cheaper as well. Income isn't one of my better friends. There is also a hand full not shown as they were in various tool boxes and whatnot. Laziness prevailed.

I wasn't going to post a pic since I just started "collecting". I use EVERY knife I own. I don't let them collect dust.

Mine are completely cataloged and recorded. 438.
Unfortunately for this poll, 438 is the number of cataloged items. But some of those are pairs of two, multi-knife gift sets, and even a set of 10. So the answer is, "I don't exactly know."

I really don't know anymore. I've got everything from a $2 curio knife to a TA Davison. Not that I know all the intimate details about them by any stretch of the imagination but enough that my wife goes "Another knife? That's nice, dear."
 
I have them listed on a notepad file, I think the number is in the low 30's including saks but not including doubles.
