How many knives do you own

Here's my meager collection. There should be around 70 knives in the photo plus another 10+ laying around the house. I've also added 2 or 3 since this photo was taken last week so I should be in the 85 range...

Sorry for the crappy pic!!

Approx 50. 35 being spyderco which i concentrate more on lately. This being said , quite a few knives have been brought and sold over the years. Faron.

I have 5-6. i use every single one.

I used to have at least double this but they either got broken or lost.

I only like to have knives that i use. I have a hard time buying things just to look at them.

Somewhere between 30-50, I'd guess. I haven't exactly counted in a long while.

I'm going to say 30-ish. Probably 40 if I count every SAK knockoff I haven't thrown away, or the pile of $1 Frosts my buddy gave me.

Decent knives - $30+: Probably 20.

Good knives - $100+: 1

Not counting my swords and tomahawks, just knives and daggers, I have 925 after 38 years of collecting/accumulating. And that's after having purged the collection twice in my life of pieces I no longer wanted. No junk either. All decent to excellent quality production and custom knives ranging from around the $30 to $800 price range. The bulk of my collection is in the $50 to $200 price range though. My wife has learned to live with it : )

 You should try taking a picture of all of them... lol

Not enough. "How many do you need?" One more than the number I have. :P

At the moment though, it's 10. I started out swearing that they were all for use, and I was getting this one for a fancy dressy knife, a thin EDC, a outdoors blade... and that kind of died.

If you don't count the blades that are part of Leatherman Tools (of which I own 4), then the total number of non-kitchen knives is 12. Of the 12: 4 are recent purchases (two Kershaws, two Bokers), 1 is a SAK Classic I've had a few years, 5 are really old knives I've had for 30 years or so (Buck 110, couple of Gerbers from the early 80s, and a couple of Schrades). The remaining 2 are little odd no-name junkers that I don't really count, but they do have knife blades and one of them is actually sharp. :)

Started with keeping 2-4 in the rotation and then stopped selling them......and accumulated around 80-90, but lately I've been thinning the group way down. If it's something that I continually don't carry it's gone; this goes for everything from Kershaws to Chris Reeves. So now I'm down to between 30-40.

I honestly couldn't say off the top of my head. Every time I think I have a hard count a couple more come to mind (stored in boxes, cars, etc.). I would say some where in the ball park of 50; although, I only use around 16 of them on a regular basis.

Probably around 20, with most of those being handed down including Old German slipjoints that I just pretty much look at. My "user" rotation is a couple of higher end Spyderco's, various Cold Steel folders and Kershaw Leeks.

I really don't know..they are spread out all over the house, garage, safe, and trucks.
