How many knives?

How many knives do you guys plan to TRY to complete in 2008? I have finished 7 so far, but most of them were forged before the new year and I had to get 6 done for the show last weekend I am going to shoot for at least 60. I plan to take 10-12 with me to Belgium in November. If past experience is any indication, even though I am getting much better, i will have to start with at least 75 forged blades to make the 60...lol.

I got about 12 done so far this year. The cold has kept me out of the shop except when the forge is going so I am looking forward to the spring. I am shooting for 200 this year. I made and sold around 40 knives last year. I did not keep track of the first few so well so I cant be sure. It all depends on how much other work I get this summer.

There were little screwups on those show knives because i was in a big rush o get finished. I still ended up losing 2 and not finishing 2 more.

I have to make at least 5 for my groomsmen gifts. Also, need to complete 4 for family. Already made one for my dad. I've got two I'm finishing right now to sell. So, lets say 15-20.

Hmm I don't really know, depends on how stuff works out but I'm going with a low of 12 to maybe 60ish or perhaps even 15,489 lol

Plan is as much as I will be able. But minimum plan (one) is already done.
It takes about a month for me to make one, depends on finish and complecity.

I've been working on a bunch of blades in the hopes that I'll get 5 decent knives done in time for JS testing in May. Wish I had more time to spend in the shop but ~60hrs/week in my regular job, plus trying to spend as much of my free time with my 2 little girls and take care of the house leaves precious little time for the shop...
