How many lights do you have on you right now...?

Myself: 3. All PhotonII's. White around my neck with my security badge (used most for rooting around under desktops for ethernet cable). Turq on my keyring so as to always be there. Super Green on a lanyard on my keychain, so I can use it when my keys are otherwise employed (like in my truck's ignition).

I sometimes carry my UKE2AAA or Browning(Pelican) 2AAA as they are small and fit easily in my pocket. I usually don't carry any other light on me unless I know I am going to be using it.

So, what's with you right... (looking at watch)...NOW?

None, until I get more Photons, then a red and white one. My gear sling that I lock up at work has a red, white, and blue photon and a Surefire 6P. Do those count?

Unfortunately, only one, a Photon II white clipped to and tucked inside my watch pocket. It goes pretty much everywhere I go (while wearing pants, anyway).

I was up to three Photon IIs, a blue on my LM Micra (the blue one, to match

) and a red with my keys. Now I don't have any keys, and my watch needed a replacement CR2016. I need to order some batteries ...

I have a few turquoise coming in so that I can be prepared to impress chicks.

Photon of course. Turquoise!

The UKE 2L is in my car.

The only other light that I ever really have on me is the Surefire M2.

Oh yeah, a friend picked me up a UKE 2AAA. Be interesting to see if that works itself into the rotation.

2. One green Photon on my keychain, and one turquoise on a lanyard hooked to my Endura.

White and Red Photon II's and a Streamlight Scorpion.

Orange Photon II

White Photon II and Streamlight Scorpion for back up at home.

I gave out Photons to my friends so they can just laugh during blackouts.

Red and White Photon II's on keychain and a TACM III flashlight in jacket pocket. Sometimes I'll also have a Super SabreLite in my shoulder bag as well...

I have a Photon II Turquoise on my keyring, an Emissive Energy White with my penknife (it's got an ultraviolet tinge which is sometimes cool)
I had a Pelican SuperDuperMityLite (now called Magnum) until the bulb went. Then I had a Pelican SuperMityLite (2AAA) until that broke. I have a StealthLite in my coat pocket, and one in my daysack. I carry my SureFire 12PM if I know I'm out at night.

I want to get an E1 and M2 for general carry.

Joe: Did you get rid of your 6Z when you got your M2?

I should have said UKE 2AAA Penlight, as opposed to the ones where the batteries are side by side. Is that the same one you meant, Greg and Joe?

St James: I am still waiting on my Scorpion from Tanner's Store Front. I got my bank statement so I know they charged my debit card. Haven't been this excited about a light in a long time.

Tanner's charges your credit card immediately when you order. My last order from them took 3 weeks to arrive.

5 lights, but I am at work. A red and white new stealth photon, (leds are inset in the case). This is on a lanyard around my neck. A regular whie photon on my key chain. A Surefire D2 clipped to my side, and last but not least an infinity. But I work in a dark theatre so lights are sort of a neccessity.

I just got my streamlight scorpion from Tanners after 3 weeks. I did call tham and ask what was up last week and they told me they actually don't keep them in stock, they order them from a third party and have them delivered right to you from this other company. She said the third party was backordered on streamlight items but they were on the way. I didn't think to look when I got mine what the name of the other company was, to see if we could order from them directly or not.

I haven't gotten rid of my 6Z yet, but am planning on selling either my 6P or 6Z when I get the chance.

The UKE 2AAA is the side-by-side version.

I do carry the M2, but have more or less decided that what I'd like to carry is a really bright light, that has a tactical-style switch, and is as lightweight as possible.

The UKE 2L may be marginally bright enough, and it's lightweight, but the head-turning switch doesn't make it.

The M2 is heavier than I'd like.

So I'm again mulling over the purchase of either a TACM3 or Scorpion. The Scorpion will be heavier, but a whole lot lighter than my M2. The TACM3 seems perfect, but a couple years ago I heard bad things about the switch, and have not heard anything about their newer re-engineered switch.

Brock: I will look when I get mine to see where they come from. Thanks to you and Craigz for the notice about the 3 week thing. I am moving out of state next Friday and want to make sure it is eaither here before then or routed to the correct location. Do you remember if it came UPS or USPS?

Joe: I am kinda in the same boat re: 6V Li flashlights. I like the 2L, but don't care for the on/off mechanism (it only seems to not bug me on penlights and the UKE 4AA's, and only alittle bit on minimags -- not sure why that is). I thought I would try the Scorpion as it seems like a better utility light. If you find out anything on the TACMIII, please post it here.

Joe: What bad thing(s) did you hear about their switch and what was supposed to have been re-engineered? I ask because overall I've been pretty happy with mine.

FWIW, the last time I spoke with them (about a year ago), they told me that they were going out make a CombatLight-styled flashlight as well.

Thanks...

Ok, right now I'm in my bedroom, so I have the following within reach:

6D Maglight
Surefire 6P
ASP 6v Lithium (on an expandable baton)
Insight M3 (on a Glock 21)
Eternalight

The latter is a totally cool little LED light I just got, about the size of a pager, with four lamps, that runs on 3 AAs. It has seven different modes, including various low-power and timer settings, adjustable rate flasher and strobe, SOS and morse code pulse, and a dazzle mode that blinks the lights in a rotating pattern. This is no assault light, but it's really great for around the house, in the car, and teasing the cat.
