I don't because I don't want to get injured while I'm working (which is pretty much all the time). So does my father in law who works for PG&E.

I wear mine when I go out but that's about it. I have a titanium ring and another tungsten "pretty" ring that my wife bought because my titanium one is getting long in the tooth. I run a mfg shop and with all of the machines...getting a ring caught isn't on my short list of things to do...:D

lol, I was thinking about the other way around if the GF gets too pushy about marriage; offer to get her a "commitment ring"

I dont wear mine simply because I lost my first one and my second one is very expensive, and I build cars for a living it's rough on your hands as is not to mention a ring, Also have seen guys that i work with get hurt pretty bad because their rings got caught in some of our machines, I wore it on my necklace for awhile but same deal , jewerly at my job is an accident waiting to happen.

Been wearing my gold band for 5 years and never have had a reason not too. Only take it off when I go in the ocean or a lake.

I've been married for 20 years and never wear my wedding ring as I found I'm allergic to gold. However, I would like to get a damascus steel one......in fact my wife and I both are looking into matching rings.

A friend of mine is a bomb technician. Obviously, wearing a ring in that job can be a bad thing. When he got married, because he wanted to have something there on his finger, he got a wedding ring tattoo with his wife's first name in it. For them, it was a good solution.

I was thinking about doing the tattoo thing. Maybe on our 4 year... It's coming up in May.

I don't; I'm always washing my hands, and humidity (under the ring) tends to helps fungi growth; besides if you need a ring to remind you that you are married, well....(by the way, my wife doesn`t mind; actuallys, she keeps the ring, among hers).

I tried for a while, but there are too many things I do where a ring gets in the way or is uncomfortable, so I opted for an iron collar with a padlock instead.

About 20 years ago I was soldering above my head. A drop of solder came off the pipe and ran all the way around my ring haven't had one on since. If you work around machinery it isn't worth the risk

No. Married 53 years to the bride of my youth..lost my original wedding ring in our home at year 5 when took it off to take some excess hand lotion from my wife..put on a pewter beer stein top - disappeared. Found 6 years later in a couch bottom when moving..figured our son juggled it...it resides in my jewelry box.

Just got out of the habit of wearing during that 6 year period..no longer wear any jewelry but did wear a watch when working-retired the watch when I retired.

Best.

No more for me. The whole thing is a sales gimmick.
The Ring's around the Heart.

Been married for 10 years and I don't wear my ring. I don't wear jewelry anymore, when I was younger I lost a very special ring, it was my Grandfather's ring. When my Mom finally gave it to me I had it sized up for me and about a year or so wearing it I had lost it. Ever since then I do not wear any jewelry or watches, it has gotten to the point where any kind of rings, necklaces, watches, etc. just feels funny to wear.

I happily admit that I am married though!!!

I haven't in awhile. Work in a hospital and it's not a good thing. Also, more women seem to want to hit on you with a wedding ring on.

My father was a traditionalist, I have never seen him wearing one, I probably wouldn't wear one when it is my turn.

I took my ring off every day to work with machinery (bandsaws, lathes, presses, drills, grinders and other nasties).

One of the worst things was the media blasters with silicon carbide in them. It would get everywhere, including under the ring, and would chew my finger all up.
