How many married guys dont wear a ring?

I don't. Lost my high school class ring while washing my car in 1967. Could KNOT find it. Working with machinery, the company advise againt wearing jewelry. Saw pictures of hands that were wearing rings and what happened to the fingers.

Been married 30 years and I don't wear it on my hand, used to wear it around my neck on a chain till the chain broke.

Now it sits in the drawer in my nite stand.

Been a mechanic/millwright/fabricator/machinist/electrician,(electronics tech) pipefitter ect... in my line of work it was dangerous to wear jewelry.

Matt, I was thinkin' the same thing about the ring tattoo...

I used to wear mine for dinners out and special occasions. I think it's lost now though - haven't seen it in years.

Married over 25 years. Our original ones were not smooth, some sort of pattern - "jigging" if you will. It scratched up my bass guitar necks so took it off every time I played. Paranoid that I would lose it, we got "anniversary" rings one year. These were smooth, but I still took it off when I played and I did lose it! Glad it was the "replacement" that I lost - I still have the first one stored away. I never did like wearing rings anyway. Now I never wear one. Fortunately, my wife is okay with it.:o

My bride and I have been married for over 33 years. I made my ring out of SS bar stock, just to use during the ceremony. Wore it for < 2 weeks is all. I am just not a ring, watch, or any type of bling guy. I wouldn't even carry a wallet if I could. Thankfully, my bride is OK with it as well!

No rings here either. Been together 10 married 1.5 yrs. We bought some rings but I never wear mine. To much rotating machinery in my life can't wear it.

I wear mine unless I'm in the field or doing any work with tools. For the morbid crown out there, google "de-gloving injury"

I have a platinum wedding ring I don't wear. It seems to expand/contract (Or my finger is doing it) so much that from one day to the next it will fit perfectly or literally slide off my finger.

I was working for Caterpillar building hydraulic lines when I got married. I used to catch wire strands under my ring so I quit wearing it at work. When I did wear it I'd get red marks that would blister. Not sure if I'm allergic to the alloys or not but I put it away and haven't seen it in years. I have to force myself to wear a watch. Not too keen on things sticking to me.

I had to treat a trucker once, jumped out of his truck and left his finger and a long tendon hanging on the door window.

Did the tattoo thing after the wife was diagnosed with cancer and I lost my band. Cured of cancer and with new big boobs, found out she was cheating on me. Now trying to work it out because of kids. Tattoo thing, just think about it. Thought I was going to have to cut my finger off!

I have been married for 36 years...to the same woman. I have never worn a wedding ring...it's too hard to get a date. :) :)

I took it off everytime I played golf it was cutting my grips. I was afraid I would lose it so it sits in a jewelry box. After 45 years of marriage I have the slouch of a married man anyway. If I ever did stray, the crime would be "assault with a dead weapon".

I don't wear one anymore either. I wore it for the first year and it got caught on everything at work. Have not wore it since and we have been married for eight years.

I wear mine 24\7. 15 years. I now have a big 0 permanently dug into my ring finger.

Other than a watch I feel way too uncomfortable wearing any jewelry. Whether or not I wear the ring I am faithful so to me it does not really matter.

I guess I am one of the few that do wear one. I have been wearing mine pretty much 24/7 for 24 years. I did get a plain gold band that was fairly beefy. Good thing cause in 24 years, it does have some decent wear on it. I do sometimes take it off when cooking, and I have got it caught once or twice. However, I also recall it saved my hand from a good crush once when the ring took the brunt of a door slamming closed.
