How many of us use our BF Natives?

I plan on using mine soon--since Mike now has the Concealex!!!!

Since the sheaths and Blue Natives have been shipped, I thought that I would bring this thread back up and see how things are going.

I got mine with the sheath on Monday and I must say I am impressed. Since it's hard for me to carry a knife at work in dress pants I decided to carry this knife in its neck sheath so.....
I'm a user and I ain't gonna stop!

This knife begs to be used. Why would you have a knife in 440v and just stare at it?

I got mine on tuesday and I couldn't be any
happier. This is a really cool knife. I especially like the sheath. Fit and finish on both the knife and sheath are awesome.
You guys that didn't get one yet don't know what you're missing. They are definately worth the cost.

Me not.

When I took it out of the parcel (inside the concealex-sheath)I thought this is my new spare-time knife. But a few minutes later there I was this voice again: "if you gona use this knife you will end up with a lot of used knives. you are a collector!"
I hate this voice, but it's always with me so I better listend to it!?
Well at least the concealex sheath got it's use. After I took the knife out my 7 month old daughter took it. Tastes great! lol

It was well worth the wait for what it costs. Fit and finish are superb as well. I could understand why some one wouldn't want to use it (very pretty knife): buy TWO - use one and save the other.

Use it?! Why would you own a knife if you weren't going to USE it....lol. The BN will complement the zytel Native

Well, I am still carrying my BF Native, I also traded into another that will stay in the safe! I have been cutting carpet with my BF Native and still "dull as a razor"!
 
Finally got mine and like Kodiak it looks like a user to me. I really like the feel of the Native and the 440V is already one of my favorite steels. I may get another to have a collector piece too...not sure yet.

Got mine today, and with as sharp as it is (the sharpest thing I have ever handled)and the blade steel, and the comfort of the G-10 I can't see not using it. Changed out the clip tho, the color is cool, but I am worried about the durability with sheath, and the silver clip from my zyltel Native looks better.

Okay, I've got this very cool new blue Native that I can't wait to show off, but every time I go to put it in my pocket- business casual Dockers- it feels like it will wear through the material pretty quickly. I usually carry a mid-sized Goddard- micarta, very smooth- so what's the solution?
 
Get the CF style sheath. I love mine. Since I wear dress pants daily, I have just resorted carrying the knife as a neck knife. I forget it is there until I need it. That plus it is a vey secure and good looking system.
