a multitool. I carry a leatherman and most of the time use it a least once daily. I always carry two knives with me, a large folder in my back pocket with my wallet, and a smaller one in my front right pocket, and my leatherman on my belt.

I carry a Victorinox Spirit Swisstool much of the time. If it's not on me, it's nearby. I recently got a Leatherman Juice Pro/XE in a trade, and that one is a decent edc as well.

At work the multitool is in my bag and I keep a Case peanut in my pocket. On my own time, the multitool is on my belt or in my nifty new KSF 2-slot pocket sheath with a small fixed blade (Mini Canadian)

I nearly always have 2 knifes on me. A folder clipped inside my front right pocket and a slippie in my rear right pocket.
Right now its my Mini Grip 555 and my Case med Stockman Amber bone SS.

I've been carrying a Leatherman Wave every day for years, I'd be lost without it. It is just a small part of the ten pounds of crap I carry around all the time.;)

A Victorinox multi-tool stays in the car all the time but it's too bulky for carrying much.First rate quality tools on it,beats Leatherman in my view.

A SAK Farmer can be carried is traditional and has tools a plenty.

I've never owned a multitool, but if I don't have one of my more basic sak's, like a cadet 2 or a Wenger SI on me, it will be an old Camillus scout knife I picket up at a yard sale that's just like my old scout knife my dad gave me.

How about I move this from Traditional Folders and Fixed Blades to the Multitool forum? :)

I have several multitools, but I dont really carry them often.
The core lives on my tool-belt, but other than that, they seem to be on rather permanent R&R in the knifecase.
I prefer a regular knife with one of my CeeTees on a day to day basis.

I always have a Leatherman P4 Squirt on my keys.

At work, I have a Spirit and a Skeletool. The rest of the time Leatherman Charge.

Right now I carry a Leatherman Skeletool in my right front pocket and a Victorinox Classic in my left front pocket. A perfect setup for me (right now).

I carry a SOG Powerlock, and a Leatherman Crunch in my car. Also have a number of other leatherman multitools around the house. I prefer a SAK in my pocket, and for the last week have been carrying both an Explorer Plus, and a Deluxe Tinker. I'm trying to decide between the two for EDC, but so far haven't been able to choose. I like them both.

I alway carry Strider AR and Emerson Lagriffe.
sometime plus small fixed blade in left pocket.

I have an SOG Powerplier that I carry, It was the only tool that I could find that had a worthwhile file. I am thinking of replacing it with the Leatherman Charge TTi but haven't been able to get a look at one yet.

On the weekends when I'm not keyboard-bound, I have a Leatherman charge on my belt. During the week, I have the charge and a juice within easy reach of my keyboard. I also have a leatherman squirt in the change pocket of my jeans pretty much all the time, and a sebbie clipped to my right front pocket.

I need more multitools. :D

I usually have a Victorinox multi of some sort , a Victorinox Huntsman , a Classic on my keys , and a Strider PT . Sometimes the Vics. get some R&R and I carry a Skeletool CX.

I used to carry a SAK all the time, generally something on the order of a Vic. Ranger. I also carried a 5" Vice Grip and a small flathead/phillips screwdriver. Can't stop fixing things. :) Then the Leatherman tool came out and I was set, that replaced them all.

Now I have a few SAKs around, one in each bag, some bigger, some smaller, a Classic on my keyring. I have a small collection of multitools, which are some of my favorite knife gifts. People I know who aren't into knives will tend to like and use a multitool.

I think the Swisstool Spirit is the best of the best, although now that I'm retired, I don't generally carry a large multitool. I keep a Leatherman Pro with my home medical equipment. (Cyborg, need to adjust my parts. :grumpy:)

But the Skeletool CX that never too sharp gave me has completely revised my multitool carrying habits. It is always with me. And gets used. It's like my old ViceGrip, screwdriver, and knife all over again, in one compact lightweight package. I clip it in a shirt pocket and it hardly weighs it down.

A 'friend' bent the shite out of two tools on my brand new SAK climber on the weekend, as a result of it not closing properly anymore, I decided to edc ONLY my Skeletool CX in my pocket...it feels as though its not even there!.
