How many of you carry

I used to carry a Wave on my belt, but figured out that I don't need it. I can get by just fine with a SAK Explorer in my pocket. But I'm not slinging a hammer or throwing drywall like some of you guys. And I carry so much junk that I'm constantly re-evaluating and trying to downsize.

A 'friend' bent the shite out of two tools on my brand new SAK climber on the weekend, as a result of it not closing properly anymore, I decided to edc ONLY my Skeletool CX in my pocket...it feels as though its not even there!.
Send it in to Victorinox service. They might take a little time, but they'll fix it for you.

Just multi-tools and not EDC knives; off duty: Leatherman Pulse
On duty: Leatherman Wave and Victorinox Huntsman in black.

I usually carry both a SAK and either a Vic. Spirit or Leatherman Skeletool CX . Sometimes a dedicated folder goes into the mix .

Chris

I edc a Leatherman XE6, a Vic classic on the keychain and a tiny Buck Mini-Trapper in my pocket with my loose change.
For general cutting i use the Buck (because its so sheeple friendly) but for anything else i use the Leatherman.
I rarely use the Classic except when i need a toothpick! lol.
I might pick up a Stayglow Classic for my keychain just as an aid to finding my keys in the dark!
:D

I go nowhere without my SAK Super Tinker and at least one folding knife. Usually a Kershaw or a Sebbie

Leatherman wave on belt pouch and Victorinox electrician inside my front pocket.

Jaime Orozco.

I carry a Victorinox Mini-champ on my keyring,a Victorinox Spirit on my go-bag, and a Victorinox SwissTool in my car.

If I had to leave behind every knife I own and could only take one knife/tool with me, it would be a Victorinox SwissTool.

These days I get by with a Sodbuster, Mercator, trapper or stockman. My multis usually are around the house for "quick fixes" in the home. So no carry for me.

I carry a leatherman kick in my front pocket and a husky folding razor knife clipped on the same pocket.I would like to carry a nice knife but painting houses everyday i would make a mess out of good knife.

i myself carry a Vic Tinker with custom blue scales with a silver star of david inlay as well as a Gerber Compact Sport 400 and to top it all off my benchmade 550HG griptillian (i'm hoping that the Hanukah fairy will bring me a new Skeletool CX =^)

I carry a Leatherman Wave. I used to carry a Juice s2 (I think?) but I can't seem to locate that.

I used to alternate between a Leatherman kick and a Gerber recoil but just recently got a leatherman core its way bigger then the kick but ill give it a try

I have a new LM Juice XE 6 which is in either my breifcase or backpack depending on whether I'm at work or at school, a Charge TTi in the console of my car, and a Blast in my hunting pack (I love the way the saw folds out on the Blast and I can use the handle as, well, a handle). Handy tools to have when you least expect it. -DT

Give your buddy the knife he busted up, let him keep the tool he damaged. Personally, when I loan out knives, I attach a caveat that 'you break it, you you bought it'. He gave me a brand new replacement and I let him keep the knife he damaged (now he has his own fixed blade- no more begging to use one of mine).

I don't always carry a multi-tool. But, it always seems like I need it most when I don't have it handy. I pretty much always keep a multi-tool in my Carhart jacket- for a while it was a Leatherman PST. When that broke, I replaced it with a promo Winchester. Now a Swisstool rides in its place. My Sog Powerlock is just too bulky for pocket carry- but I love her on my belt.

I pretty much always carry an SAK- usually a Vic Spartan or Wenger SI.

Oh, No! By doing so, you eliminate a useful and necessary function from your SAK. Vic's trademark cross is such a handy vampire repellent I wouldn't be without one. It has worked for me like a charm for decades (no bites to speak of). Doubtless a star of David would do the job on Jewish vampires (observant ones, at least), but like PC vs. Mac, your chances of encountering the other kind are much greater.

Suggestion; carry a conventional Classic on your keychain so you will be covered for all eventualities. Better to have and not need it than the other way around. :D

I have carried a swiss tool everyday for years. I have one on my duty belt as well. I think it is the best of the mutlitools I have seen.

I usually carry three knives---
When in a suit, or in dressier clothing:
Spyderco T-Mag (right front pocket)
Spyderco Civilian (inside the waistband)
Leatherman Micra (keychain)

On a work-day:
Benchmade/Ritter RSK Mk1 (right front pocket)
Spyderco Military CPM D2 (Kydex belt carry)
Leatherman Micra (keychain)

In the woods:
Benchmade/Ritter RSK Mk1 (right front pocket)
Dozier KS1 (belt carry)
Victorinox SwissChamp (pack)

Good, functional stuff.

I guess a classic Laguiole with a cross inlay would do?;)

Any time I leave home I take my BCB creditcard multi-tool. I love it. Tough and cheep.
If I'm going to work I throw my faux letherman (had it since I was a kid) and CRKT M16 into the mix.
