How many of you EDC a double edged?

Any blades with more than 1 cutting edge are a weapon by dutch law, making possesion and carry illegal.

I also have no use for them so i don't own or carry any.
I did for a time own a ZT 0150, nice little blade.

I tried - lord, I tried. I wanted a double-edge knife to work so much for EDC. But, after trying several different varieties of double-edged knives (including a custom fixed blade) the only one I could seem to use without it being more hassle than help was a Cold Steel push dagger. I might get another push dagger someday, though, because it was easily the most cathartic way to break down a cardboard box I have come across.

If my CS Hideout that's on the way doesn't print under my shirt I will give it a chance at EDC. Generally don't feel the need or want to carry a Double edge. The edge you put on the Busse Battle Shark @cmftw is scary to even look at on my phone. That is gnarly as Hell dude! Great work!

Good Luck getting a response from Ban Tang

I was on the wait list for a year and when I saw he had made and sold the exact model knife I wanted to someone lower on the wait list than me and I called him on it (respectfully) he told me tough crap don't need the business life sucks.

Double edge eh?

My folders in right pocket are usually not very used, just stay there in case.

My 2 favorite (at the moment) EDC fixed blades are double edged.

Stripped CS 3V Taipan:

And now this Busse Battle Shark, which I just ground the swedge to a zero bevel:

Jarritos and Burritos? Do you have Mexican heritage? Lol

I own quite a few double edged knives, 3 Cold Steel Tai Pans among them. But I don't carry them outside my home, even though California state law allows it. I've had encounters with law enforcement and know from personal experience that they lie in police reports then purjure themselves in court. The courts are no place to expect any sort of justice either. They supposedly read, write and speak english, but when it comes to interpreting the law, suddenly things that are crystal clear to anybody else, become gray and uncertain to them. So in the end it doesn't really matter what the law says, they ( police and courts) do pretty much whatever they want.

Maybe if I lived in the Mojave desert or in the Sierra mountains or foothills far from the crowded city I would feel better about open carrying a double edged fixed blade, or any fixed blade for that matter. But not while living in the wicked city, no sir.

I guess the problem really is the city/county in which you are. In Los Angeles you're not supposed to openly carry anything above 3'' blade lenght. Why not carry something like a CS counter point? That is what I carry sometimes although I mostly carry a multitool.
