How many of you own a Glock 30?

I find that my 23 IS the perfect pistol to carry IWB in a plastic Blade-Tech holster. (BTW...When I carry my "23", it's loaded with a full 13 round mag, with a "Pearce Grip "Plus" adapter, giving me 15 shots in the pistol, then I always carry a 2nd "spare" 15 round G22 magazine.)...Note that the 15 round magazine being longer than the standard 13 round magazine really helps in a speed re-load, as it locks in with authority.

My little model 27...It's too tempting just to slip it in my front jeans pocket or jacket pocket (which is a "no-no" from a safety standpoint.).

Oh, I totally agree that it's easier to carry a spare, my main issue is that I don't carry the Glock 30 because it has a big fat ass. Granted, my USP is no slimline by a long shot, but I make allowances for it because it's my favorite.

If I was going to limit myself to one current production pistol, I'd make sure I could carry as much ammo on board as possible. 10 rounds of .45 is a better choice than 10 rounds of 9mm after all.

Hey Spark,

I thought you were CCW'ing that Steyr SPP, with spare 30-round mags on the off side.  :D

I think what we're all trying to say here is that we have to choose individual weapons that have merit in our lives.

I sometimes lug a Tussey custom .380 ACP in a day-planner. For some cases, this works, and the Gold Dots give me the best performance with a smaller gun.

If I'm trapsing around the National Grasslands, I tote a SW 4516 with any good commercial grade hollowpoint. I can carry it around hammer down, double action, and even sleep in it. Size is not a problem with open carry.

One hot summer in the 1970's I carried a stainless Bauer in .25 ACP; to be sure, a very teeny firearm. However, I WAS packing, and the everyone else had lint in their shorts.

I'm fat, but not that fat. That's the under-coat rig when I don't feel like carrying the AR. One of these days I'm going to have to get a good SBR though.

Nothing wrong with a 4516 either. I have one of those in a 4516-1, and changed it over to DA only.

Sometimes I think I have a .45 fetish.:D

Pick yourself up a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster! They are less than 20 bucks and great holsters, I have two. That will let you slip it your pocket and keep the family jewels intact. I carry my G27 that way a lot. Reload in opposite pocket.
With winter clothing an outside pocket holster is about the only way you are going to get to your gun if you need it.

I've always wanted a 30!! My current CCW is a Model 19, I'm a pretty muscular guy but I would still like a little less weight from my weapon.

Does anyone have the Clip Extension to enhance the grip? I think that would be a must for me.
