A man after my own heart. How did those damn things get started, anyway? Michael Walker should be banished, but it's too late now I guess. Seems we were doing just fine with lockbacks, and when designed right, they're just as easy to open one-handed. Now we have these weak-a$$ things that wobble and fail when you least expect.
Of course, I've never had a problem with a slipjoint, and I've field dressed and butchered scores of game animals with 'em. Bet Lefty has, too. My attitude with any "locking" folder is to treat it like a slipjoint, and try my best not to rely on the lock at all.
