How many people have your knives sent to hospital?

Although I consider it safer to use a sharp knife rather than a dull knife there are dull people who will cut themselves if you loan them a sharp knife. I can remember two people who ended up in the hospital emergency room for misusing my knives. In both cases they essentially cut themselves "on the job" so the guys running the place insisted that they go. At home or in social settings other people have merely taped themselves back together. Anyway my score is (2) people who have been sent to the hospital when they borrowed my knives.

What is your score?

Uh, my wife did a number on her finger with one of my knives. Luckily there was no nerve damage and it healed up with a scar to reminder to be more cautious. She was trying to pry some frozen meat apart while holding it in her hands.

I just don't let other people use my extremely sharp blades. ;)

That would be a Darwin award waiting to happen. :D

Only myself... My Busse MNFBM bit me pretty hard. Never get drunk and try to cut stuff in half to impress your friends.

My wife and kids are the only ones who use my knives and they are used to sharp knives.

The closest I've got is my wife...when she saw our last Discover bill.

:D

None.

I've cut myself bad enough to warrant a trip to the local hospital, but I just taped it up and it healed after several days of swapping out gauze and tape. Left a bit of a scar though.

Just myself. Using a box cutter when I was 17yo I cut through the cardboard box and into my thigh. Five stitches later I was good to go. Now I have a fear of box cutters.

Zero. My fiancee had to get some stitches after a bagel cutting incident with her Delica wave, though. It was just after I'd given it to her and she, having only just been given a thorough run-down on how to use it properly, forgot the cardinal rule of never cutting towards yourself. :o

never myself

Sophomore year of high school, a guy borrowed my MiniGrip off of a Prop table during one of teh school productions, started playing with it, and sliced his whole thumb to the bone, now the knives stay with me ALWAYS

and once i had a friend drop a Bali trainer on his little toe and somehow he broke it, dont ask, i still cant figure out how

How many people have my knives sent to the hospital? A few if you count those people I cut up. Hahah just kidding

Sent myself twice to the E.R. and a friend once because many years ago he said I couldn't hit him with a shuriken while he was running away from me. He never said anything like that again. ;)
