How Many RAT Knives...

RC-3 : Used every day for everything.
RC-4 : Attached to my hunting/woods pack.
RC-5 : Attached to my vehicle pack.

RC-3, RC-4, RC-6. (hopefully an Izula soon:cool:)

I use them all.

My RC-3 alternates from EDC on weekends to horizontal carry on my pack strap when I'm out and about.

The RC-4 alternates between molle locked to the bottom of my flyfishing chest pack to occasional belt carry.

The RC-6 does belt duty on hikes etc.

They've all batonned to the extent that their blade lengths allow. They've harvested fatwood, shaved fuzz sticks, etc. along with the more mundane tasks that an EDC performs.

I love them all and will not part with them but the RC-3 holds a special place in my heart. I got it in OD/Orange and it's the knife that I love more than any other. My son knows it only as "dad's favorite knife". I just finished touching up the edge on it and it's sitting on the desk in front of me as I type this.

Izula - EDC when not at work
RC-3 EDC, Work

My gf also has an Izula which is her only EDC.

RC4 and Izula. Izula is EDC, RC4 is anything outdoors. Hope to get a 6 soon, and an RC3Mil later.

Izula Prototype- Has been used alot but is now retired.

Tan Izula- Still in perfect condition but has been used and will be used alot more.

RC-3- Been carried almost everyday since I got it, about 3 weeks now.

RC-4 black- Used alot, a whole lot.

RC-4 tan- Traded into recently, used a ton but not by me, I've only used it a little bit.

RC-6- Not used very much just yet but once I start camping for the year and getting off the beaten path a bit further, it'll come into it's own.

RC-3 and Izula, and I use them both hard! The Izula is a pocket EDC and the RC-3 is a backpack EDC.

I'll be getting a 5 and a 6 this summer.

Tan Izula- My EDC and definetely shows it. From cutting packages open to fire prep. It is well Loved.

RC-3-- I take this knife when fishing due to the over the shoulder rig I made for it. Used for cutting line to gutting fish.

RC-5 - Will be my heavy duty camp knife I can just beat the crap out of!

Tan Izula- lite neck knife duty, paper, cardboard
RC-5- about to give it the mule treatment

old school

Tan Izula - EDC for Work - Used alot!
Black Izlua - Just received on Friday
RC-4 - Used a lot for a camp knife
RC-5 - Haven't had a chance to use yet (But it sure looks nice!)

I also have an Ontario RAT-3 and RAT-5 that I've had for years and have seen a lot of use. Especially the RAT-3.

Izula: in my front pocket as I type this and carried every day. It has totally replaced my folders for EDC.

RC-5: I've taken it hiking and to SAR K9 training a few times but haven't put it through it's paces yet. It'll be one of my camp knives.

RC-4

I EDC the RC-3 but I have been too busy with school to really get out and use the other two.

RC4 sees everyday use as my EDC blade.
RC6 sees quite a bit of use outdoors and in the kitchen.
RC5 will get use less often but is being turned into a survival kit.

Well, right now, I have an RC-3 that I've had for a few months. It's been my kitchen blade since I'm out of the woods now. And I have 2 Izulas, one tan and one black. I EDC the tan one, been using to cut this and that. And I'm going to give the black Izula to a friend.
