I used to count the knives until it became a problem. ( kept forgetting the amount and it changed too frequently ) So, I decided to just weigh them and keep track of them by the pound. That system developed it's own set of logistical setbacks so I decided to keep track of them by the cubic foot. Naturally, I can't seem to remember what that total is and I'm always losing my tape measure. So, at this point in time, I don't really know.

Embarassingly few, and most of them are junk from when I was younger.

The only good ones I have are a SAK, and a Schrade Trapper that disappeared very mysteriously years ago. I might still have it, but I have no idea where it went.

38 actual slippies or traditional.2 Waves(old style),one NIB for a backup when the other one gets messed up, a Charge Ti,that just sits in it's box, and a juice that usually resides in the kitchen. I try to fight the compulsion to get more.
I can't say if I consider myself a collector, or someone just looking for that perfect knife. I have a few favorites that I use and carry. I regard them as trusty friends, and two of them are Case's.

i have about 70 slippies, most are old hen and roosters and sheffield knives, some are from the AG. Russell Knife Collectors Club, from the 70's, also a couple customs. fortunately enough, these only account for about half of my collection, as i have mine divided into 3 groups. old slipjoints, tacticals/fighters, and hunters.
