How many strokes per side, or what is your sharpening regimine?

I tried out the Sharpmaker this evening. The initial results were sharper than anything I've done by hand with no discernable burr. I even tried it on a partially serrated edge. I'm sure I'll get a better edge with more practice.

For the price, it seems like this system is a bargain.

Good for you. Now you're on your way to a new addiction. It's amazing how your new "sharpest edge ever" becomes "dull" after a few weeks. Every time I hit a new level of sharpness, I go back and redo my other EDC knives.
