A month ago I'd have said 2-3 on average. With my new job I'm down to once or twice a week. While it makes me sad that I don't get as much use out of my knives now, it does make the times I get to use them all the more exciting.

During the week a few minor tasks that are usually handled by a multitool. On the weekends I usually have need for a more serious knife and more knife specific tasks.

Had a good weekend this week and wound up field dressing a deer and filleting some fish.

I've been counting and on average, I use mine knife or multi-tool to cut something 6 times a day. DM

1 or 2 times a day. Mostly it is to open packages containing new knives I ordered. 😃

I work in a warehouse, I get to use my knives all day for various cutting tasks

Some days 10 times +. Some days none.

If I sit home doing nothing I usually don't use one that much. If I get out and "do" things I find myself reaching for my knife fairly often.

Life requires a knife! ;)

As a knife guy, I use a blade every chance I get, which only ends up being two or three times a day. lots of opening packaging/zipties.

If I cook for my self, there's a good chance i'm going to end up using a knife in some way shape or form.

At the most around 100 times per eight hour shift...opening up to 60 or so 50lb bags of varied materials...carry strapping...prepping rolls of paper for coating...

I replied with plenty.
In my job I am opening sealed bags and boxes with some frequency, giving me plenty of use daily.

It depends on what you call "use". I probably cut 1-3 times a day. I generally do a bit of handling and inspecting nightly as I take it from my pocket.

I also "use" the knife for other tasks like light hammering with the handle (knocking out small animals before feeding them to reptiles), and other non-cutting/non-abusive (to the knife) tasks.

I use it a lot for cutting foods as well as any other task that requires it which is why I typically carry a larger blade (besides I have large hands) my present carry is a Benchmade 710 I find her perfect for this usage
