I once contacted them to make a custom scale but i turned out to buy a wilkins grip.
They took a little while to get back to me though!

It's very nice, i think really any upgraded mini grip material would be nice, G-10, Micarta, CF, Wood the Plastic ones are getting a bit boring compared to all my other knives, but I love the shape and utility of the mini-grip design.

Nor would I , unless I had plenty of disposable income. The top most pic looks really nice.

Funny thing is , I would like the Griptilian series sooo much more if they had scales made of something other than that nasty plastic. That alone is what has turned me off from otherwise nice knives in the past ( Delica , various other Spyderco , etc.)

With less than $10, and some basic skills, you could make a nice set of oak scales in just a couple days of spare time.
