I started a list a long time ago, but it's way behind the times now. I had about 70 knives then. I'm sure it's over 80 by now -- not counting kitchen cutlery, either!
I'm up to about 240 now after about 13 years of collecting. But that still isn't enough! I am one of the lucky ones, my wife, not only supports my hobby, but tracks down many a knife that I don't have.
Hi Guys, How much do they weigh? Might be a better term, every
time I load my Buck display or sales cases in my van (a 2500),
it rides a little lower than normal. Maybe they should sell
Buck Knives by the pound!
Hope to see you all at the Cincinnati Area Show in 2 weeks.
Interesting to know that there are some out there that enjoy knives that they would buy a house because it has space for their knives
did same poll on the spyderco forum and the results were actually simular- but more buck boys have a high number of knives
Hi guys... I mostly just lurk in this forum.. but I couldn't pass this one by. According to my 'puter, where all knife buys and sells are logged... I have 97 knives. Four of them are bucks, all California toothpicks.
Before Christmas 1999 I owned exactly 2 Buck knives from the early 80's, a 501 and a 426 drop point. (I'll bet the drop point blade would sell well in Pete's.) One of the gifts my wife Mary, now also a lifetime member of BCCI, gave me was a 110 from Sams club. Some of you might remember those, came in a plastic see through clamshell display along with the sheath and a 2-AA flashlight for $29.99. After holding that 110 and admiring the construction I got my other Bucks out of storage and noticed that they too exhibited the same excellent fit and finish, and that was all it took. I now have 58 Bucks and there is no sight of the end of finding more I just have to own.
