How many?

I am usually surrounded by knives. At work there is a Vic classic in the circle of the monitor stand and a Queen Dr knife in my top desk drawer. It get's used every day cutting up an apple. Decided to carry a 83 type whittler today that Tony Huffman made along with my always back pocket knife. (Bone Carson lock back).

Don't even ask about my laptop bag. There is a couple of Vics and who knows what else. That thing has a lot of pouches and there is a small and useful knife in just about each one. There is an equal end in there around a hundred years old that still has plenty of life in it. I know there is a Buck Lancer that I have had for a long time in there too.

Obviously, I am a very very sick man.

I know what you mean.:cool::thumbup:

But. do you have Band Aides in your Desk?:D

3 Knives every day
1 Eye brand trapper right hand pocket.
2 Small Eye brand pen laft pocket
3 Russell lock back on left side on belt.

At least one knife/pocket*.:D

And I wear cargo pants and a vest.:D:D

(*not really, but pretty close)

Usually a mid sized slippie, whittler or stockman most of the time. And also a large liner lock, occasionally a small/med fixed blade. So pretty much 2 all the time, slippy for normal cutting, bigger one for heavy stuff that I come up against for with work. Big ones nice to have size wise etc, but mostly just to keep the slippy sharp as possible. When traveling I think I keep a selection of about 6 or so in the case for changing EDC purposes, at home I get a bigger selection.

No real rotation, just what I feel like that day.

And I thought it was a little odd of me by "having" to have a knife on me at all times, except bed and bath, now I feel better and may just start carrying an extra one or two or heck here it goes.....300$s

I carry two always and sometimes three. I always carry a sak, the model changes depending on where I am going and doing but I always carry one. I also carry a medium sized to large sized pocket knife. Usually a trapper, sometimes full sized , sometimes a mini.
When I carry a third it is something small like a peanut or a little pen knife. Yesterday I carried my Victorinox fieldmaster, Case 3254 and a thirty year old Case peanut that my wife gave me two days ago.
I could get by without the small knife but I like them and enjoy having them with me. Trappers are work horses and mine does most of the cutting chores.

I carry one knife at a time. My pockets are filled with too much other crap to carry more than one knife.

On a day to day basis, I carry my Case Small Texas Jack, and my Leatherman Wave.

When dressed up, just my case.

When hiking/camping/fishing/etc. I carry the Case, Leatherman, and I put my Mora on my belt.

Although, I almost always carry the leatherman, I hardly carry it for it's knives, I mostly have it for all the other tools. But, the one hand opening knife has come in handy a few times.

Well usually I only carry one knife/tool at a time. I pick what I carry depending on where I will be and also what I may need to do. Lately I have just been carrying my Vic Spirit "S" multi-tool but I used to carry my Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter and a Boker Jigged Bone Stockman quite often.

I've decided that I am going to try and carry the Stockman more, along with either the Cold Steel, Kershaw Blur, or the multi-tool. I like to stay modern with a traditional flare. :D

This week-end out to the country house so...Russell Green River Barlow in carbon, handiest garden knife. Marttiini Skinner on the belt and a Spyderco Dragonfly clipped on inside pocket. I think there was a CASE peanut in there too...

Usually it would be a small lockback, a Moki, CASE Mini Copperlock or Fox n Hound stag handled, OR a Medium Stockman, a Mini Trapper or Queen Teardrop. In my bag a small sheath-knife such as Bark River Mini Northstar and a SAK of sorts.

But, each day is different and mood is a wonderful thing!

When I'm at work I usually carry just one. Scrubs don't really support carrying a big knife so I'll throw a Case tiny trapper in my pocket. When wearing jeans I carry two. Usually a Rick Browne gunstock or a Case medium CV stockman and a medium Carson #4 or a JW Smith frame lock.

Always at least one, sometimes two or even three, depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going. Most workdays will have a Victorinox Alox Harvester in my left front pocket and a small stockman or copperhead in the right front. If I'm hunting, I'll be carrying a copperhead or large stockman in the left front pocket, a small stockman in the right front or possibly a folding hunter, that one depending upon whether I'm carrying a fixed blade on the belt. If I'm carrying a fixed blade, one in the left front is enough. No need to get weighted down carrying TOO many. One reason I like the new Case 090 pattern 3-3/8" equal end small stockman, it's so light and compact that I just drop in a pocket and never know it's there until I need a splinter picked, a box opened, fingernails cleaned, pencil sharpened, or whatever needs doing with a small knife. I have grown to like a fixed blade for hunting, stays cleaner.

I had been carrying a knife plus a multitool (Vic Spirit) for some time, but lately I've been carrying just one solo knife. At work in dress pants it's a Case peanut, the rest of the time it's been a Wenger alox Standard Issue. I only grab something extra if I specifically know I'll be using it.

Most often two. Almost always my Spyderco caly jr. As of late the other one has been a Case scout jr, before that my queen large stockman and before that a fallkniven U2. This is in a period over ca 5 years. But now and then I switch to a knife from the akumulation to carry a day or two for the fun of it.

Normally two.
A moose and a vic.
And if I'm out in the woods I add a fixed blade to that.

Okey-dokey, it's time for you to go to the rubber-padded room. Carrying more than A knife, & An axe (hunting) is OVERKILL.
