I'm sure this has been asked before but with prices at an all time low here, $2.20/Gal. here in NE Pennsylvania and $1.99/Gal across the Delaware river Jersey, how much are you payin' for gas, how much to fill your tank?

BTW it takes about $35 to fill the 18 Gal. tank on the Santa Fe.

Just paid $2.45/gal here in So Cal, north of Palm Springs. It's close to $45 to fill my 20 gal tank on a Dodge Dakota Sport.

Near my place, about $2.09/gallon. Takes about $44 to fill up an SUV, less to fill up sedans with smaller tanks.

Let's see how long the relatively low prices last.

It fell to 2.11 before the election and the day after jumped back up to 2.15. :) Tell me sumpin aint goin on!!!
The Lincoln was just under 1/4 tank and took $36 and some change to fill up.

It was $2.19 about a week ago and now the cheapest I can find is $2.25 a gallon. Cost me about $25.00 to fill up my Honda.

Here it is $2.29 per gallon and it takes about $41.00 to fill up one of the 2 tanks in my truck.

I remember my oldman tellin' me in 73' that if gas went above $1/Gal I could expect to do a lot more walkin'.

The cheapest I remember it bein' was somewhere between $0.29/Gal and $0.39/Gal back when I was 11 or 12 years old.

Anyone try gasahol or any one of the number of alternatives available?

Anyone make their own alternative, alcohol or refined veggie oil?

I wonder if an military old deuce and a half with the old multi burn engines would be a good alternative these days wouldn't they run on used motor oil or was that just a myth?

I paid $2.23 just before the election, then the day after the election I paid $2.35. I'm sure it's only market forces at work - right!?!?!

I pay about $2.50 to $2.60 for my car, though I fill up with 93. Usually about 35 bucks to fill up my Mitsubishi Galant GTS.

The best I saw here in Vermont was about 2.17, up a few cents the last week or so. Filled up for 2.19, cost about 35 bucks to fill my Ranger.

I paid $2.48 on Friday, and it took about $40 to top off my Exploder.

it is up a nickel a gallon from last week.

I buy 87 at $2.09/gallon. It's a bit under $37.62 to fill my tank (18 gallons), but because most of my driving is to work and school, I end up getting a couple of weeks to a tank and never fill up because it just drags down my gas mileage.

Wow, you guys are paying almost half the price of petrol across the big pond. We're currently down to a recent low of ~US$1.25 per liter of the most common unleaded fuel (~US$1.20 per liter of diesel). 1 gallon = 3.7854118 liters, ergo ~US$4.73 and ~US$4.54 per gallon). Now that's cheap, it costs more in many EU countries :) Fuel hasn't been this cheap in months now either ...

In and around North Arlington/Falls Church in Northern Virginia, the price seems to be running around $2.10-$2.15, rounded up.
