How much are you payin' for gas/petrol/fuel?

$5.49 per US gallon here on Skye. :grumpy:

The up side is that my sensible, smallish car does over 40mpg. :D

It still is 91 cents a liter for regular gasoline. I converted my pick-up to run on propane 10 years ago. Auto propane is selling for 64.4 cents a liter.

During the summer peak gasoline sold for $1.19 a liter. Auto propane was 69.9 cents a liter

Here in Fairbanks Alaska i paid 2.46 a gallon last night. We have the big pipeline and two refineries in town . We are getting hosed by Flint Hills the owner of the refinery.

It was down to $1.99 for 87 octane last week, but $2.04-2.09 now.
I still think that's too high, but I'll take $40 every five days over $62 anytime.

I'm paying about US$1.00-1.05 per liter in SEAsia, that's for the high grade. For the low grade probably US$0.90+. Using faramir's conversion, I'm paying abt US$3.70 per gallon. Crazy.

I understand you get 44? short gallons out of one barrel of crude. Thus at US$60, it's about US$1.40, add on transportation costs, whatever, above US$2 sounds about right. In the 90s, there was one time when crude went down below US$10 a barrel. thus gas would be about US$0.80 a gallon, or at least below US$1.00.

It was at $1.99 for a couple of weeks here in NoVa. Now it has crept back up to around $2.09 for 87 octane.

I think the governement should put the petrol prices to a minimum of $50 per gallon.
That way I would have the streets for myself... :D

From $2.25 a gallon on 11/12 to $2.32 a gallon this morning. When it goes up it doesn't waste any time but try to get the price to drop more than one or two cents a week.:grumpy:

Here in Albuquerque, we're doing around $2.16/gallon of 87. Last year, from the end of October to the end of January, gas was $1.68/gallon... next November, we'll see gas prices go "down" to $2.60/gallon of 87, from an ongoing $3.30 all year... :thumbdn:

Now when price went down it is about $5 per (US) gallon (=3.785 litre) (95 octane)
