how much did your edc cost?

Both my Millie and ParaMillie cost a little over a hundred dollars each.

I've been switching it up a lot lately (and yes I know I paid way too much for several of these- I used to try to support retail stores because it's fun to try out a lot of knives before you pay for one)

The one EDC I never change: Hideaway Straight 440C $70 ( I want a Strider titanium version of the same but them's pricey!)

The rest I switch up:
Benchmade 710- $170
Benchmade 806- $150
Byrd G10 Cara Cara $22!
Benchmade Gravitator $150
Benchmade 940- $200!!
Benchmade 721- $150
Buck Strider 880 SP $120
Buck Strider 881 SP $125
SOG Twitch II $50
Spyderco Endura 4 $45

This is just a little piece of my collection, consists of what I've carried in the past couple weeks. My old standbys used to be the Benchmade AFCK and Stryker models, but those have been retired for sentimental reasons.

I rotate, but the Benchmade is my main one

Benchmade 943 - 160$ Overpaid as it was at a gunshop and my first knife above 80$
Spyderco Delica - 29$ new on Egay
Spyderco Endura-43$
Spyderco Native- 40$
SOG Flash Tanto - 75$ - again a gunshop buy

$100 for my Spyderco Manix, $55 for my mini grip. Those two cover just about everything I'd need an EDC for.

Either $425 for my Kirby Lambert Inferno or $500 for my mammoth ivory CRK Mnandi. Some days I have both of them with me.

Workday EDC Beaters:
BM 551 $40
Camillus Heat $38
LM Wave $31

Weekend EDC:
BM 552 $91
Modified Pacific Salt $85

mine are as follows:

*spyderco Ti ATR plain edge - $200

*strider gen 2 SmF recurve blade/ brown G10/tiger stripes - $450

*emerson specwar CQC8 zero bevel grind - $1200

3x Cold Steel Spikes (2x Tanto, 1x Talon) - $12 x 3
1x Cold Steel Kobun - $32
1x SpyderCo Cara Cara - $19

I do a lot of cutting at work, so it's worthwhile to have a blade for every ocassion, and it's hard to beat a cold steel spike for testing current (although it looks like a disaster by now). Can't bring myself to pay too much for an EDC blade, I do irreparable damage to them too often.

My civilized EDCs(Town,work ECT) are.....
Spyderco Native I 110.00$(shipping killed me on that one):grumpy:
Spyderco Native III 56.99$
Buck/Strider 889 50.00$

My at home EDCs(country) are...

and now for the poor mans side of the room

case hawkbill, $18
case sodbuster large, $23
and now for the high end
buck 889 plain edge, brown scales, $40
i've had more expensive but this this is what i carry now. later, ahgar

MT LCC D/A $250 back in 2001
MT Scarab $350 this year
Camillus Dominator $145
Kershaw Blue Bump $135
Buck Alaskan Guide 110 $60
A. G. Russell Ultimate Pen Knife $20
Spyderco Kiwi Free! gift from friend
Benchmade 42 $135
Benchmade 730CFHS $150

take the average and multiply by two, as I'm always carrying at least 2 knives:

Avg. EDC value: $276

Full time EDC is $70 HAK utility and $40 Atwood Prybaby on my keychain.

Otherwise I split between $400 Stirder SnG, $150 Buck Mayo, $120 BM 710 (M2 version), $120 Syderco Paramil and a few others.

My normal EDC averages about $1600. NM SLCC, Mayo folder or Recurve SMF, Mayo stellite necker and one of several custom balis. And almost forgot, a Swisstool X. Thank God we're not adding watches or flashlights...

CRK small regular Sebenza -- I think it was $290 new -- I got it before the last price increase.

Benchmade 710HS -- I willingly paid more for it to give a local cutlery store my business -- $150.

Victorinix Small Tinker -- about $15.

Case Yellow Handle medium stockman with CV blades -- it was a gift from my daughter, but I think she paid about $35 for it.
