Leatherman Wave
Multi-tools - I took out over 30 nails that was nailed by a nail gun.
Sissors - Cut/trim so many leaves and weed and plants.
Large Screwdriver - Took out aprox 20 screws (Not a lot)
Blade - Cut through plastic water bottles
Saw - Saw a few wood sticks
Serrated Blade - Cut card board box (i dont really know what the purpose of a serrated blade)
Wire Cutters - Cut wires from my head phones.

I must say the Wave is like a tank i dropped it so many times (usualy 4-10 times a day because im so careless) from 5ft plus and the only thing i see on it is a tiny scratch... It's been soaked in water and still no rust been accidentaly kicked across the floor/cement stepped on used it as a hammer on some occasions and its still performs like day one.

How much do you really use your multi-tool now???

I use it (Leatherman Supertool) alot My last job was landscaping and general lawn care used it to up keep equipment, saw roots, scrape grass out of the mowers, you name it. also my wife and I manage an appartment complex in a small collage town, so I use it there alot to we live on site and the apartments are old and I use the screw drivers (sm, med, lg, and philips) most, I EDC a one hand-opening folder so the blades on my leatherman rarely get used, but the stay sharp. I use the pliers often to hold/tighten a bolt and remove old staples. So I use it alot.

I have a Leatherman Wave. I use it both for work and the outdoors. I work as a maintenance director and use mine everyday.

Every single day when I am at work. I have plenty of real tools pliers, screwdrivers. wire cutters etc. on site, but it is so damn handy I find myself reaching for my leatherman and only going to the job box if my multi can't handle the task.

so I can not give you exact figures but I use mine a heck of alot.

sorry forgot to list the model I am a bit of a multi tool horder so I can be anything from a SOG powerlock to a leatherman charge with various other leatherman and victorinox tools rotated throughout.

OK now for the disclaimer -

Hi my name I Jason and I am addicted to multitools lol!:foot:

im a welder by trade and use mine alot from cutting the welding wire , to using the file to scrape and clean up my spool gun or scrape contacts off .. my super tool is probably my favorite of all my multi-tools and i have alot ..

the surge works well other tan the dang bits like falling out alot and really heavy hanging off my belt ..

I work at home on the computer all day, and almost never use a multi-tool. But that does not stop me from carrying one. On the rare occasion it does get used, its nice to have it. I am somewhat envious of the real working stiffs like plumbers, maintenance guys like cgusek, etc. who actually use theirs on a daily basis. For me, though, its more of a just in case kind of thing.

cheers

Exactly same as you! I dont realy get to use it everyday but i carry just in case because you never know when you might need a multi-tool!

Painting contractor. Leatherman Charge TTi. During work i use it a couple times per hour on average. At home less frequently.

I'm also in facilities maintenance at a 90 unit apartment complex. I've carried about eight different multi's over 20 years, a few of which saw three or more years service. Presently, I carry a Leatherman Core which is about a year or so on the job.
A multi-tool is a must in my job where I move from floor to floor, apartment to apartment, making minor fixes. 75% of my repairs I can do without other dedicated tools. At home I carry a Leatherman Surge which only gets 1/4 the use the Core sees.;)

I used my Swisstool the other night to replace the worn out tread belt on an exercise treadmill. This involved removing screws, bolts, prying plastic trim, cutting wire, pulling staples and cutting packaging. I think nearly every implement came into play.

I operate and manage a medium-sized internet cafe and use my LM-Surge for everything from fixing doors, wood paneling, electrical outlets, opening boxes for new equipment. Even fixing furniture on a daily basis (Screws, nuts and bolts).

I wouldn't be able to do it all without a sturdy multi.

i dont use mine very much (swisstool)
if im not at work its on my belt, but it only gets used maybe once or twice a week
i always have a SAK in my pocket though, and i normally grab it first, swisstool if i need a different/beefier tool
the SAK probably gets used 10 times a day

My Leatherman Blast gets light duty, various things 2-3 times/week. But that's why I have a Blast as it is light weight (compared to most of the other tools) and has all the different tools I need and is tough enough.

I have a very old SAK Champion. The file broke off years ago and I should buy a replacement. I use the can opener on a daily basis and also use it a lot when I attend ham radio meets, when we are providing communications for events (triathlons, marathons etc) from tying up markers on trees to fixing my equipment, I use the screwdrivers the most. As I work with wiring and electronics a lot I am contemplating buying the new SOG Kilowatt, which I guess could be described as a multi tool for an electrician.

My multi-tools get rotated depending on what I expect to do on a given day, or just because. They get used daily for everything from grooming to woodwork, on the spot repairs, gardening, general all-around tinkering (I'm a general, all around tinker).

Usually, I carry two at a time, the larger in a regular pants pocket, a smaller in my jeans watch pocket. My "work" outfit these days is a Leatherman Core plus a Micra for scissors, nail file and tweezers. I also have a Super Tool, ST 200 and PST, but use them seldom anymore. A few years ago, however, the PST came in handy for a trip to England, where locking blade pocket knives are not legal for public carry.

Out and about, I sometimes carry a Juice CS4, backed by a Vic Rambler. Travelling light, I take instead a Tinker with Micra. Sometimes, always when travelling, I pack a Swisschamp, paired with the Rambler.

Hardly a day goes by without them being used several times. Today, before breakfast, I put a new socket fixture into a lamp. It turned out to be a single rather than 3 way switch, so I'll have to do it again. I wouldn't be surprised if the last thing I use my Leatherman on today will be the first thing it got used on this morning. But most of the time, my fixes get done right first try. ;)

Since my first 4 bladed Scout knife at age 12 to the present day, I have carried one or another pocket tool just about every day. Not only can't I imagine doing without, I don't understand how anyone can go tool-less through their daily lives.

Just between us, there are a lot of things I don't understand.

I teach in a high school and I keep my old style Wave in my bag to fix or adjust all the random things that come up. Today I used it to remove some brackets above a chalk board so I could hang up a map. I've also used it to fix staplers, printers, copy machines and a kid's glasses once.
