How much have you spent???

Hey guys.

This is inspired by a thread that is currently attracting some cool pics and slight criticisms.

What is the most amount of dollars you have spent in one hit, be it from multiple sources, new or secondary, cash or credit etc etc.

Lets say within a one week period, for those lucky enough to be paid weekly

I'm on 540AUD (current exchange has 472USD) for my mint CG FBM, from a Aussie collector.

in a non Busse moment it would be 590AUD (approx 515USD) for my small classic sebenza with snakewood inlay. that one also later cost me a belt pouch/clip insert/lube. That one was direct from CRK

also mine is slightly more expensive, I can add say 30US for shipping each time from a retailer

It will no doubt end up quite a bit higher eventually, especially when I decide to bite the bullet on a custom slipjoint

anyway lets hear your confessions

I would say around 1500-2000 in a week, thats not alot considering what other's have done though. I am interested to hear from guys like JAXX,Tony-G, Rony Bear or those who bought all the Wardens at once. I never intend to spend that much, it just happens.

Now thats just for Busse....if you mean busse and others? I would say alot more and I cannot figure how much.

only 2,400. some of the pic's posted put the benchmark at around 10,000$+, and thats for single blade orders.

Lord only knows how much the 1980's blade stockpile went for. (lol, anyone else remember that one? the guy was looking for a buyer for the entire lot, didn't want to peice them out... asked jerry if he knew anyone (Wich obviously he did with this crowd ))

Roughly $3,000.00 on my first order back on Jan 6th 1999( back then you paid when you ordered, I waited 10 months and 12 days to get abput half of my order,then drove a few hundred miles to get the rest about a month later.)

All straight handles by the way, a ten knife order, half given as gifts to others.

$5,000.00 earlier this year for four knives, all straight handles, but all kept for myself.

Personally, I see a "Disturbing" Trend here.
