How much lock stick is too much? UPDATE

Sorry. My use of the term "CRK moderator" was meant to apply to CRK employees. I knew you did some moderation, but did not realize you did most, if not all of it.

My new large 21 with carbon fiber inlays had a lot of lock stick.. I sent it in, they said there was nothing wrong with the knife, and to use their grease. The knife just came in today and it still has slight lock stick. I will try a takedown again tomorrow and see what happens. In my small 21 I experienced absolutely no lock stick. Both were brand new knives.

My newish large 21 has some stick, kind of bugs me, some days i don't care but other days i do. I'm a complete knife disassembly geek too, break down knives constantly and am very good at it, I've tried everything in the book but the stick still stays. Pretty annoying considering some have zero stick, it's all about those slight angle geometry's where the lock face and tang meet, some cause it to bite and wedge in a bit more than others.
