There is only one thing you can do, oneslowbird. You must buy your wife an enormous diamond and let her see the truck deliver it and tell her, "OOOOH it's big ... OOOOOOOOH it's SPARKLY ..."
 
Well, Raptor... The first or second time you DO freak out... The Nth time you just know how things are going and wait patiently.
I try to forget this things as they are solved, but make sure to remember them when I go and vote for the next Government, and more and more italian citizens are starting to do the same ;)
