Let's talk about 21st century's bayonet!
What do you think best?

Now,U.S.Army use M9 continuously for the OICW,but I bilieve it will be renewed soon as M7 to M9.
Maybe now it is in competition,but imagen is free.
If you are designer of a maker,what alike you design?

I imagen as "Buck Nighthawk Tanto" and as "Randall M1 8"blade ".
Nighthawk Tanto is modern Tanto blade design.
Randall M1 is old I know,but best as all know.I didn't think it good for this time,but U.S. still Love the Bowie knife!
Both design cannot work alone,as it needs some accessoryes;MPT,spike,small(2" or 3") knife,scissors,and stone.

IMHO

The M16 based system is getting very old. We will probably see an entirely new platform within 5-10 years. (yes, new bayonet too)
 
I know M16 will renew for OICW soon.But it use M9 continuously.
As I reckon it is on seacret competition.But I have no information!
