How NOT to use a MORA!!

I'll be impressed if that kid has all his fingers and toes left by his next birthday. He must hate the idea of having knee caps, too.

Dig the classy nighttime reading in the background.

"i don't want to overuse it because i want to use it later" lol! that is a new one on me.

I don't want to get all high and mighty because I have done some very stupid things with knives in my past.

However this kid has seen the ER once for sure from the looks of his arm, and shouldn't be long before he's there again. Hope he can learn from his mistakes before it kills him, or serious loss of an appendage.

"...That is what it said on Ebay", I'm gonna use that line when quoting references sometime in the future.

Hopefully that kid reads some of those responses...the gushing artery comment is spot on.

not so great with a knife...ever since i was 10 and cut myself i learned to be very very cautious of where a sharp edge may lead and what it might cut if i slip...

i guess this guy hasn't learned yet...

I had to bail out once he started with the carving on the knee. I just couldn't watch him lop his kneecap off.

Probably broke his arm in one of his figure 4 deadfall traps.

Doofus.

I think that's what many of us have in common. I played with knives when I was very young, too. And of course I cut myself and learned from experience. This youtube guy is obviously new to the whole concept of knives. ;)
I was four years old at most when I became a knife nut. This guy learned from ebay...

Ya, alot of the comments were in reference to his choice of reading materials. I couldn't stomach watching that entire vid...

Just crazy.

CRAZY I say!!!

By the way, I got my Moras the other day. Although they will never replace my Busses or Swamp Rats or Beckers or Cold Steels or ScrapYards or Bark Rivers or the kitchen knives, I can see that they definately have their place. I don't want to use them to much right now, I want to use them later!

It takes too long for me to download a video. What's the reading material that's being referred to?

Doc

Playboy on the table behind him - seems like people are guessing that's why his left arm is in a sling.

I couldn't watch more than a couple of minutes. I KNOW he never sliced his leg wide open... but it hurt too much to watching him carve the board and stick on his knees. Burying the blade under your knee cap would be a heck of a way to learn to make sure you know where the edge and point of your knife is AND where they are going to stop.
