How often do you tighten and lube your BM?

I find that after 1 day of carry of my 42s it needs to be tightened and lubed to get back that smooth feel that I love. I flip it a lot, but sould it get loose so fast?
 
I guess it depends on how much you flip, but tightening your screws everyday sounds pretty excessive to me. If you haven't tried it already, you might want to put some Loctite on the screws. I would recommend the temporary kind (I think it is the blue one).
 
I found that once I started tightening the pivot screws (they needed it), I had to do it several times a day. The factory dab of what looks like blue loctite is still on the screws, but doesn't reactivate with use. There is a type of locking compound that doesn't set up, and theoretically keeps the fastener it is used on locked in position longer even if the fastener is adjusted. I don't recall the type or brand though.
 
To apply the loc-tight do I have to take the screws out? Or do I just bring them up as high as they go and dab it on?

Right... I just figured that out:rolleyes:
For some reason I was thinking about the pins that I hear some people have a problem taking out.:D
