I found that once I started tightening the pivot screws (they needed it), I had to do it several times a day. The factory dab of what looks like blue loctite is still on the screws, but doesn't reactivate with use. There is a type of locking compound that doesn't set up, and theoretically keeps the fastener it is used on locked in position longer even if the fastener is adjusted. I don't recall the type or brand though.
