With a new year arriving, and with my Dad's passing and my birthday last month, I've been thinking about age recently. Over 10 years ago, there was a thread in which members on The Porch reported their current age. (https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/age-group.1295867/ Post #273 has a nice graph)
I enjoyed the thread since it helped us all know a little more about each other.

I propose that we repeat that age-reporting activity. I set it up as a poll by age decades so that we'll automatically get an "age distribution". Feel free to report your exact age in a post, as well as to indicate the range containing your age in the poll.

I just turned 74.

I had to click 60-69 for accuracy. But in March I'll move to the next decade.

I turned 78 in November. If I ever forget How old I am, I just ask my boy how old he is and add 30.

I’m with ya brother, was born in 53 my son in 83.
Just a couple weeks I’ll have 20 years here on the porch! THANK YOU ALL! It’s been a gas and I’ve learned a ton. But most of all the Friends I’ve found on this little corner of the inner tubes has been the BEST part of the journey!

I’ll be 68 in May.
Survived three 8.5 hour cancer operations.
My youngest son was born when I was 50.
Had a knife in my pocket since I was 8-9
Just got back from a winter hike in NH with my middle son.
I feel and act like I’m 25:oops:

60. My Dad passed 10 years ago but my Mum is still alive. She turns 95 in 3 days.
No children, retired.

I bought my first real custom knife at 18 from a young South African Knifemaker who lived a few kilometres from me. He worked from his garage.......his name was Chris Reeve......and yes I do still have it!:)

I've been an avid knife collector for over 40 years now. I was very fortunate to meet some fabulous knife folks when I was very young. It's been a passion for me all my life.
