How one event can change your whole outlook

I read the evidence, have had dealings with the party involved, and you....and by your own admission, you lack a certain amount of honor, or in your words "That's my point, I'm not worth talking to."

The other party, while subject to occasional fits of pique, is quite honorable, imo, and has never done anything to anyone that I know of, save you, to have that called into question.

Can he be a hardass? Yes, and in this business it is called for....but not a liar.

You on the other hand have some serious anger management issues....and you NEVER straightened up that issue with Artem, afaik, and I did a deal with him prior to that, and it was as smooth and straight up as one could ask for.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Steven.....Keith is accusing me of things I haven't done and by his own admission has lost respect for Neil. Is it a coincidence that he lost respect for someone a few hours after the posts I made last night?

Show me how I have anger management issues, I'm just bringing the truth out since Keith is accusing me.

Im sure we all have our assumptions on what this is about, but don't let it get you down. Be happy you at least know the truth...its better to learn someone isn't who they seem than be a pawn in their chess game.

Keith - Amazingly, last night I had an experience like yours - with a member of the knife community. Let me point out that it was not anyone on Blade Forums.

But I will just move on. David's comment about time being the healer is most accurate, but remember, you still have your integrity, and more than likely the other person doesn't. Just move forward and let it heal. Good luck, and the best!

Bob

The real answer is that people who interact mostly throught the wonder of the internet really don't know each other very well, especially through most of the parasitic relationships prevelent in the knife community where people all feed on each other to a certain degree and there is a veil of phony flattery and politesse so a deal can be struck.

Makers/Manufacturers feed off buyers/collectors/end users who then feed off other buyers when they sell their stuff and so on. It doesn't sound pretty but thats really the reality.

Its like soylent green. LOL. Its made out of people!

that is certainly a jaded pov! The truth hurts:(

The person I had the conversation with last night got back to me today. I'm feeling much better now. :D

Good news. I'm certainly glad you feel better. :)

I've not had your experience in any of my hobby-related dealings. However, my professional life exists in a climate where a certain amount of double dealing, back stabbing ... that sort of thing ... is the "norm." It's stressed me out and ruined my calm and optimistic nature more than once over the decades. Yep, I've been 'conned' before and more than once.

God forbid, such things could destroy these our fantasy lands:D

Hey, I've been in business for awhile, and have had my share of hooligans to contend with. It's the cost of education, I reckon;)

He robs himself that spends a bootless grief.

sorry for your troubles :(

we are all human and that means people make mistakes and "step in it". it's what you do afterwords that determines the merit of the man.
