Air Sog was one of my first good knives. They might have been made in the early 90s too. The lack of pocket-clip is a killer for this knife by today's standards. Even at the time there was already a fair amount of compition with a pocket clip. I imagine their's quite a few of these laying around in safes and at the back of drawers that people don't think much about. I have no idea how many were made and when exactily they stopped, but I'd consider them rare in that they're not readily avalible. There must be some desire in these from collectors, so price of one today probably varies, but I'd guess it doesn't get too high.
I'm surprised that I missed this thread 14 months ago. I have had my Airsog for years, but it hasn't seen much use do to the serrated edge. I like the feel of the handle and blade shape, so I may start carrying it again. When I used it back in the day, it was mostly as steak knife.
