How sharp is your Pocket Bowie?

Mine? Not so sharp. Mine came with an underwhelming edge, and I am having trouble getting it as sharp as a small fixed blade ought to be.

Mine was very dull on receipt. I checked the edge with a loupe and it had a very pronounced wire edge that was not removed and had rolled. I stropped it and it was pretty sharp. I sharpened it after that and it is now sharp. The grind was a little off. You might check the edge with a magnifying glass or loupe.

Must say mine came sharp, right in top tier of sharpness I've received from any manufacturer.

Mine was not to bad fom the factory,. A few swipes on the Sharpmaker & stroped with the black & green compound & its shaving sharp now. Seem to hold the edge very well also. Beter than i was expecting.

Mine came pretty sharp - about 10 or 12 passes on the sharpmaker ultra-fine stones brought it up to hair popping sharp.
