How small do stockmans get? You got any?

I have finally found my perfect pocketknife in the form of a small stock. I didn't know they made a 2 blade srockman. I knew about 4 & 5 blades.

Used to be.

One of the tragic loses of the post war period is that Bruckman did not survive the war. Way too bad, they made a heck of a pocket knife!

I've always considered the 1970 and back Case 6333 at 2 5/8" closed to be the Rolls Royce of small stockmans. The 6327 is equally as neat, but comes in at whopping 2 3/4" closed.

Here's a 6333 from my collection:

Thats a beauty Durwood

Wow! There are some small ones!
And here I thought 3 1/8" was pretty small!

That may just be the perfect smaller stockman. Very nice

 thread here Navihawk.

After lurking here about a week back and reading through all the great posts I was intrigued and thought I've had a fine bevy of Case 6333's myself and several small Bucks and Old Timers too. However, I thought I may have yet a bit smaller Case Stockman that I carried a few times and then put away.... And after digging deep into a little seldom seen crate I did find this Case 5327. She is just a fuzz north of 2 5/8 closed. I believe this is the smallest of all the Case Stockmans ever produced. I remember her because I found the pen knife quite useful on this little gal..

Thanks Sunnyd. same size as the Kabar. It takes some talent to make a multi blade that small. There used to be a trend on sub miniature knives.I used to see them in Ken Warners Knives Illustrated.

I have a rather old Boker stockman that is just a little over 3 inches. I found it buy the roadside awhile back; the scales are cracked and the pen blade is gone, but it was once a stockman!

Don't you hate finding something like that in that condition? Something you just can't throw away.

God Bless you Foilist!. Hows about you wipe her down and submit a picture here for us?. Please?!.

Of the Stockman knives I have these two get carried the most. Both are Cold Steel with Carbon V blades. The large stockman is 4 inches and normally get carried in a belt pouch while the Medium stockman is just under 3 1/4 inches and works well in my pocket along side of my wallet.

Nice assortment thawk.I like the shape of the master blade on top.

That is a Schrade NY 855, post 1973. They did that one a bit different didn't they? Almost like a drop point maybe.
