How strong is a Q?

I have a spyderco Q, with the spider in the blade and serrated blade. I've never really used the knife since it just seemed too delicate. I've used my copilot or ladybug instead.
Just how strong is the Q? I might start carrying it, if I'm not worried about breaking the pivot.
I don't hear much about it, but it seems just like a fad. Was it a popular knife at all?

Thanks

I believe the Q would do just fine for light duty use, but is that what you really want to do? Ebay prices on the Q with a spyder have been houvering around 80 to 100 dollars. I have seen some variations go for over 300.

LOL I'm so not a knife collector! The knives that I baby and think have value are worthless, and the knives I think are beaters have appreciated in value. Go figure. Maybe I should put my stainless copilot and hoffritz ladybug away and start carrying my al mar eagle instead.

My woman has used one since 1999. Other than getting dirty and dull, it's held up great. Just use it to cut, not as a screw driver and not to pry :) Don't use it with peanut butter, it gets in the holes, however you can clean it by running it through the diswhasher as she does.
