How thin is too thin pre heattreat?

I'm afraid I worked the blade of my knife too much and it may warp during heat treat. What's too thin?

Read the stickies at the top of the main page. There is a ton of great info in them like the answer to your question. Stainless can be taken thinner than carbon. I stay above .025" on both. Are you doing the heat treat and what kind of steel are you working with?
 
I would stay at .030" if your doing it yourself. If it's already too thin just knock it back before you heat treat it.
