That's strange.....I was actually going to recommend steps 1, 2, 4 and 7 and leave out the rest.

Thought about it, wanna get some use with the choil first to see if I like it there or not. Once it's gone it's gone.

Thanks for the tutelage - I have been thinking seriously about doing this to my 2, even marked it but couldn't get up the noyve to grind away any steel. I think I will stop thinking about it and just do it. Soon. Thank you.

Looks great! Using leather to protect the edge is a good idea. I used layers of tape when doing a choil on my Camillus bk7
… ofcourse the dremel went through the tape, damaging the blade. Polishing that kind of scratches out is a big pain in the hole.

So im loving the choil so far. I have not gotten to use it as much as I would like yet. But loving it so far. I am hunting for more to do to it.
