How to better center an Axis lock blade?

I've been searching for an hour, with no luck.

My 1st Axis lock blade(BM 940), is off center when closed, any ideas on how to better center it, without sending it back, or just having to live with it?

Maybe loosen the pivot, jiggle the blade around, then retighten? I'm not sure, mine came centered. It's lok-tited, too. Good luck.
