how to blacken titanium?

I saw a guy talking about a frame lock that he blackened the titanium on. and I looked on google and youtube and never saw how it was done. can someone tell me if there is a way to do this?

I've used oxiclean. There have been a couple members who posted how to's with oxiclean.

You boil some water add the oxiclean and after mixing it you put in your pieces and let them sit for about 45 mins depending on how dark you want them.

By using Zirconium instead I guess that's one of the better reasons it is used, sine you can get it nice and black, and it has better wear resistance. Sorry if that was abslolutely no help to you.
