To shoot oneself in the foot - To damage or impede one's own plans, progress, or actions through foolish actions or words

^^ Fun fact: Mods can also read the edited/deleted posts ;)
Cheers!
Thanks for that info. I decided that it's not worth tarnishing my name anymore due to bravado. I will keep quiet until Spark makes contact and then I will provide him with everything. Seriously, I really appreciate your concern in this matter. I definitely shouldn't have enabled him with the back and forth middle school bickering, but it truly vexes me to have someone come to my thread and slander my name with bogus comments and lies.

And? I edited it because it contributed nothing. It said nothing out of hand? I do appreciate you two wanting to jump on board a situation you've got nothing to do with though, that's totally cool.

Sure teaches me a lesson about not being happy with people after they drag me along! Y'all showed me!

silverds; busybody: a meddling or prying person

LOL, by all means. Keep showing your A$$. You might have avoided an infraction acknowledging your mistake and moving on but your attitude is on full display here. I wonder how many of your potential buyers and fellow sellers are reading this thread.

Hey man, that was not directed to you personally, it was just a heads up for anyone that posts and reads here, to mind their actions.

Also, I did not want to 'show' you anything. When I first replied to the OP, this thread was still in GB&U and was trying to help him post in the right Area (tech support) and also pointed to the rules that he may have grounds for dismissing the negative feedback. This is the first time I'm actually replying to you, that's why the quote.
This is a somewhat public forum and the OP asked a question in GB&U (thread was moved here after), so nobody jumped in a situation...

Cheers!

CataD; fair enough

Silverds; how much did he pay you to defend his honor? Lolol. Welcome to ignore. Not sure why you felt it your personal mission to stick up for someone else but hey, all good; everyone needs a champion I suppose.

Peace y'all.

The character on display in this thread showed me and everyone else reading this thread including the moderators, everything we needed to know. I was completely neutral throughout my participation in this thread until my participation was attacked. Everyone makes mistakes. Some people learn from them while others throw histrionic tantrums and attack Samaritans.

Don't play high moral ground. You got involved in a situation that had nothing to do with you and now you're upset someone snapped at you.

You're not a Samaritan you are a meddler and gasoline thrower.

CataD spoke cordially and with good intent; that's a Samaritan.

Please. Tell me the first lie I told?

I love y'all playing moral high ground after attacking me *first* with an expletive in the very first post here.

Mods or admins y'all do what you gotta do. But I won't sit there and let someone curse me without responding, especially someone who didn't have the fortitude to tell me "sorry bro changed my mind" after dragging it out for over two weeks.

Men should talk openly like men, not hide behind refusing to respond to emails.

I would have no concerns at all in purchasing something from him. Sounds to me like he was very patient with the op.
Even if md02 inadvertently broke a rule it is clearly the op that is in the wrong.

TheirProtector618 TheirProtector618 PayPal messing up isn't md02's fault, screwing around with him for weeks and then going silent is completely on you. If you had a problem with PayPal you should have payed through some other means and dealt with PayPal later or cancelled the deal.

I agree with Jimmy, md02 hasn't been responding with daisies and roses but the deal went south because of the lack of communication from the buyer. Md02 is obviously irritated and is under no obligation to post like a saint.

Md02, it would be in your best interest if you'd handled your responses more tactfully. I too have thrown tact out the window when I'm being slandered. So I get it, just cool out though, the community is pretty good at sifting through bull crap.

Protector, going dark on comms is a big no no. Just keep it real and communicate what's happening and you'd be surprised at how understanding some members are..

This has seriously been blown out of proportion.....I really don't see how I was screwing around with him for weeks.... We have over 40 emails and I was very open with him in regards to everything. I had to move out of where I was living by October 31st, I had to prep my family and have everything in line for the move. After the move, I had to get myself situated, my daughter in school and many other things which are associated to moving. The seller knew this. You are making it seem as if I just led him on from day 1. I respect your opinion and that's fine if you side with him. But like I said before, my intentions from the beginning was and still is, how to reach a MODERATOR for assistance. He violated the RULES. Not once did I ever point a finger at the seller and yes, I did offer to send him a money order but could not do so when PayPal told me that this could take 2-3 weeks. If my money would have cleared up by then, i would have bypassed the PayPal and send the money order immediately. So if im in the wrong for not wanting to send funds twice, so be it. I never came here with the intentions to create a battle or to have members choose and pick sides... This is to me is super petty in all reality. He since then has sold his AK47 and I'm still waiting for my funds to clear.... All this because B.S. because I sent the funds via Echeck...ROB is extremely unprofessional in the way he talks to others, HE HAS DELETED THE MAJORITY OF HIS DISRESPECTFUL POSTS ON MY THREAD and I pretty much don't want to deal with the back and forth cause of this.

After all is said and done, He did offer me a Hell of an offer on a blade that I was looking for, yet I was duped by PayPal and still violated by the seller because things didn't go the way it should have. I asked for a moderator to review the case. That's all. Everything extra is just nonsensical to the seller and myself. All this has done is create division, slander, bickering and so many other problems which should have never happened. Once again, I respect everyone's opinion but please get the WHOLE story before commenting.

I did let him know what was going on.. the last message he received from me was on the 4th and on the 10th, he responded that the blade was sold elsewhere. He seemed pretty vexed with me, so I decided not to engage in a pissing contest with him. I for one, have been in the process of moving which I relayed to the seller from the beginning. Then with PayPal and everything else going on at the moment, I just wasn't quick enough in responding. I understood his frustrations from the beginning. I just feel that giving me negative feedback, slandering my name and being verbally disrespectful in my thread was a bit overboard, even after knowing what PayPal did to me. If he is in the right, why did he delete all his posts???? At the end of the day, All I wanted was a moderator to review this. That's all.

Did money exchange hands and did the goods get shipped?

That is what it boils down to. If nothing was exchanged between parties, there was no deal. You can't leave feedback for a deal that never happened.

So, did the deal happen or not?

No sir, the deal never happened.

Then the rules are pretty clear- You can't leave feedback if the deal never happened- Negative feedback removed and an infraction for the person that left said negative feedback.
